Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good to Excellent Hotel The front desk staff was nice enough when I checked in. I was not upgraded. They keep cookies, popcorn and lemonade in the lobby for free which is an absolute godsend when you've been traveling all day. The house keeping staff was super friendly and helpful in the morning. The room was nice and did not have an odor. The bed was comfy and the entire room was clean. The bathroom was typical. The A/C was cold and shower was warm. Overall rating: Good - Excellent. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by repeat guest won't be back Although the service was fair, the location served my needs best, I found a few challenges that as busy business owner would cause me to try another hotel chain. 1. I had to stop my day repeatedly to call and request the confirmation emails sent to me during my stay, and two of my subsequent managers I sent there for training. I had to call several times before I had the requested information. Might be a small thing but to a busy schedule and opening another branch location in my industry, time is tight and valuable. 2. One of my managers flight was overdue which resulted in a layover in Dallas, he arrived the following day, missed a half a day of training, and had to use my company business card for a hotel in Dallas. He did not meet this hotels requirements of calling to cancel (because he was on a plane) and although they were sympathetic they did not refund the night's stay, so I had to pay two hotels for one night's stay for a manager that had no control over the situation. I can understand if the hotel was booked solid, an event was in town and no other rooms available, but that was not the case. Showing exceptions like this instills business and small business growth, but not doing so only discouraging a returning guest to your fair city - but not to your hotel.
