Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Big,clean room The room is big and clean. The front desk staff was very nice and friendly. We'd like to go back if some day we have chance there. March 15, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Filthy This hotel is filthy starting with the parking lot all the way to the room. The parking lot (concrete) is covered with mud, gravel, grease, oil and debris. Careful where you step or you might track mud, grime and oil inside your clean car. The halls have a very peculiar and unpleasant odor. Reminds me of a few homes I've visited over the years that were infested with roaches, however I did not see any evidence of rodents or pests. The rooms are not cleaned well if at all. Our room had a bar of soap from the previous guest, still in the shower. That's enough to tell me the housekeepers are not doing their job. The room also smells like the halls, had to open the window. When we returned today from an outing, the room had been serviced but some of the bedding was still on the floor though the bed was clearly made. More evidence of the low level of cleanliness in this hotel. This is why I carry Lysol with me. The business center is a joke. The computers are broke as well as the printers. If you need to print an itinerary or a spreadsheet, bring your own printer. Overall I'd say this hotel is typical of those in the oil patch, dirty and staffed with inattentive people who couldn't get a job in the oil field. The only bright spot in this entire facility is the breakfast. Though basic, it is pretty decent as far as hotel breakfasts are concerned. March 12, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Fort Stockton HI Express Of all the Holiday Inn Express' that I have stayed, this was the least satisfying. March 11, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff nice hotel Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. Considering the bad weather that rolled in and the heavy oil field traffic the hotel was kept clean and quite. Would recommend this hotel to folks staying in Fort Stockton. Close to shopping as well. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nothing Special Pretty unspecial place. It's probably one of the best in town though. Staff was definitely not overly friendly. I had to have my keys re-done multiple times. Very unusual. It's clean. Breakfast is normal for HI Express. I'd stay again if I was in town, only due to lack of choices. March 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good stopping place traveling across Texas Older hotel but under renovations. Our suite had been updated and was very comfortable. Staff helpful and pleasant. A bit more costly than other HEI in smaller towns but typical for the area. March 7, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fort Stockton While on the road we called into see what restaurants were nearby? Response very matter of fact "they are all down the road". The reason we called was to find out what is nearby??? Upon check in different person was most informative as to where to go. Parking lot needs to be swept very dirty as is entry needs to be pressure washed. Should consider putting replaceable walk off mat in elevator to catch some of dirt. March 7, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Clogged Drain and Construction Zone First impression Parking lot full of construction trucks and rocks all over the driveway. White pellets on ground in front of enterance. Sign in lobby "sorry for the noise remodeling 2nd floor." Room on third floor was average nothing special. Drain in bath tub was extreamly slow draining. Breakfast was not very tastly. the eggs tasted like water and the sausage and eggs were just warm. I had to request a plate. I drank hot tea and it tasted like bad water was used. I wasn't happy.
