When I checked in, they gave me a room that was already occupied. When I went back to the front desk, I was informed the hotel was booked solid and there was no more rooms available even though I had a confirmation number. The young man at the front desk called his supervisor who basically left him on his own with the issue. After about 20 minutes of trying to sort things out, I was finally given a room. All the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was not in the best of shape. Someone had done a very poor water damaged repair job. If the hotel is full, the hot water system is not adequate enough to support all the rooms (words of the front desk). I took a couple of cold showers. The TV in the exercise room does not work and the weight machine is in pieces.
They basically gave me my room for half price which showed me they were really trying to fix the problems. However since I was there on business, my company got the benefit instead of me.

I have stayed in this hotel 3 times since last 1 year and everytime their service has been excellent and consistent. They recognized my IHG status, were very friendly and the breakfast crew was cheerful.
I hope all hotel managers undestand that the cheerfulness of the breakfast staff can make or break the day of their guests. Those of us who travel due to work and have to stay away from our families sure do appriciate kind words and good gestures while at the hotel.

When this hotel is full, it runs out of hot water during the morning rush... cold showers from 6:00am through 7:30am.

After reading reviews, we were apprehensive about staying here. Be sure to ask for directions as gps will NOT take you to the location. Staff was very friendly & welcoming. Refrigerator was not cold. Sink & tub stoppers need to be replaced. It's obvious updating has begun. Our ceilings were mended but need refining. Loved the straight line counter for functionality. Not everything was available for breakfast - machines there but not enough room to use them. Quiet - we stayed on 3rd floor. Beds were comfy. No problems with security. Worth the money.

I'm A rewards member & this was an older hotel but good stay except for breakfast. Poor variety for vegetarians. Better choices nearby next time.
