AFTER ABOUT 45 MINUTES OF TALKING WITH STAFF AND SEARCHING FOR A ROOM AT ANOTHER HOTEL THEY "SOMEHOW" HAD A ROOM COME AVAILABLE. DURING MY WAIT ANOTHER GUEST CHECKED IN. I WILL NOT GO BACK OR RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. November 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, Comfy and fairly quiet I had the opportunity to stay here recently and was fairly pleased with my choice of hotels. It was clean, comfy, fairly quiet and the staff was very kind and helpful. The room I was in was clean but in the need of a little repair. There were lots of stains on the carpet, and also mold stains on the ceiling over the shower. There was also a light bulb out in one of the lamps for the duration of my stay. Dusting could be a little better (I'm a perfectionist), but all in all it was a good choice of hotels and I would most likely stay there again. On another note, I think there needs to be a change in policy for all Hotels, not just HIE, but every brand, when it comes to connecting someone to your room (phone calls). I think they should take the persons name and maybe a message and call the guest with that info. I think it would be safer. I had a stranger call my room (connected thru the front desk - I was assured that they did not give out my room number or other info) and it scared me. I didn't sleep the rest of that night.... So, it's something to consider if there are any CEO's or COO's out there reading this....... November 11, 2014
