Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Generally good, as expected This hotel was as I expected an HI Express to be...satisfactorily clean and comfortable, predictable, no surprises. The only (minor) downside I encountered is there isn't a lot of onsite parking, and the spots are small; its a tight fit for trucks or large SUVs. We always found a spot during our 3 days, but a couple of times there were only one or two spots left to choose from. April 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, comfortable place to sleep I found the hotel clean and well maintained. Room was clean. Linen was clean and fresh. No odor of smoke. Bed was comfortable with a good pillow selection. TV and AC worked fine. Rear/bottom firing speakers on the TV made it somewhat hard to hear and understand but it's hard to find flat screens with front speakers anymore. Bathroom clean, towels fresh and not worn out. Ample supply of hand/bath soap, shampoo, lotion etc. Hot water came quickly on the 4th floor letting us know the water circulator was working. Good pressure and nice flow. Nice shower head. Typical complementary breakfast. I would pull the microwaved Turkey sausage and find a substitute. Poor appearance and taste. Bacon thin and tasteless. Restaurant manager friendly, polite and kept the place clean and the breakfast bar stocked. I felt he would attempt to meet any request. Front desk staff pleasant. House keeping staff returned greetings in the hallways. Transient/homeless problem in the parking lot around the clock. Corner store adjacent is the draw for them. I was not approached or bothered by them. Numerous park at your own risk/remove valuable signs in the lot made me consider relocating. I have no idea of the actual number of auto burglaries that occur here if any. Other than concern for my vehicle safety, I would stay here again without hesitation. Nice comfortable place. I was alone and just looking for a clean place to sleep. Not concerned with entertainment, swimming or working out. Close to downtown Ft. Worth. Nearby University Street has plenty of nice places to eat or shop. April 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay comfortable beds and delicious Cookies The room was extremely spacious with nice high ceilings, microwave, mini 'fridge, and spacious work area and big bathroom. The morning breakfast was good. The dining area was clean and spacious with plenty of tables and hot food options. The lady working in the breakfast area was very friendly and accommodating. We were impressed with the pancake making machine. Very cool! April 22, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Very average Slow workers and our room wasn't cleaned even though we requested it to be. The hotel is nice, but we were yelled at for laying down on the couches in the lobby after a long and late flight - not cool. Overall - 7/10. April 21, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by VEasy Access to Everything We came in town for a concert at Billy Bob's and this place was in a perfect location. The shuttle was great even though they would not call ahead and get the shuttle ready. So if I wanted to shuttle for 8pm, I could not come down and get in at 8 to leave. You had to be downstairs waiting before they would even call. This was about a 15-20 minute wait, but our driver tried to make up for it. :) There were four of us in the room and they only had 3 of each towel so we had to call and ask for another. This could be easily be checked before customers arrive. Breakfast was good. The eggs were watery so we stayed away from those but for a "free" breakfast it was not too shabby. You have to pay for parking which is a little silly. The "garage" is full of obstacles and it is very hard to park or get out of. We should have taken our chances in the offsite parking. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dogs would not stop barking! This was the 2nd time we had stayed at this hotel in 3 weeks. My company requires us to stay at IHG properties and they are normally clean, quiet, and safe. The hotel lobby was very nice and check in was smooth. We went up to our room on the 2nd floor to rest for an hour because we had spent all day at the Art Festival. Almost immediately 2 yappy dogs next door started barking and did not stop for the entire hour. When we went to leave another couple was standing at the elevator complaining about how loud they were. My husband stopped by the front desk and they said they would call the owners. We got back around 10:30 that night and they were STILL barking. This lasted 15-20 minutes before the owners showed up and it stayed quiet until Sunday morning. We were awoken at around 8:40 when the owners left again and guess what the dogs went crazy again the entire time we were showering and getting ready. If a hotel is going to allow pets they should give their guests an option before they put them in a room beside a dog. There should also be a protocol for when they cannot reach the owner or if the owner does not take action. This resulted in very little sleep and we were surprised by the lack of effort on the part of the hotel staff to address the issue. This was also the 1st IHG property in almost a year who did not acknowledge the fact that I was an IHG rewards club member. April 14, 2015
