Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Convenient and Clean We live on the north side of the metroplex and were attending a church meeting in Lake Worth. I didn't feel like being in traffic all weekend. We were going to stay at the Holiday Inn Express on North Loop 820 because it was closer to the church, but their pool was going to be closed for the weekend. Our kids had their hearts set on swimming, so we moved our reservation to this hotel. I credit the other location for calling us and letting us know about the pool. This location was clean and the staff was friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast and the kids had a great time swimming in the pool. My only complaint for our stay was that the bed was a little firm for my taste. I was exhausted the two nights we stayed, so it really didn't affect my sleep. July 8, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good one night stay during road trip after a few issues We stayed here as we were driving from Nebraska to the ocean. The room was great. Happy hour/dinner was a welcome surprise (and saved us $$$ -- which is a big deal for a family of 5 on a tight budget for vacation). Breakfast was disappointing --- food was cold and when asked to heat up --- was told No. Found out before arriving the room was $20 cheaper. called and asked for an adjustment .... told NO ---that we'd have to cancel our reservation and book a new one. A real pain! Almost didn't stay because of it. Otherwise, a good experience, and definitely a nice layover before we got on the road the next day. July 6, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I was impressed. I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn in a while (like many many years)and I was pleasantly surprised at how they have upgraded their hotels and staff. They have Bath and Body Works products in the bathrooms, the rooms were impressively clean, their staff was extremely pleasant, helpful and accomodating. The staff is first-rate and are totally dedicated to being accommodating to their guests. The cleanliness of the hotel, the breakfast that is offered, the dining area, and the pool area, along with the friendliness of the staff make this a top choice hotel in the area. There are several places nearby where you can eat and the hotel is right off the freeway. The only negative experience was the construction in the area, but the hotel had nothing to do with that. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay a great experience, and they're fun to have a conversation with. The surrounding area has good food, a theater, and a golf course to make your free time enjoyable as well. I would recommend anyone looking to stay in the area to stay here. April 28, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Squeaky & Thumpy I stay almost exclusively at Holiday Inn Express hotels. Most rate well. This one in Ft. Worth is OK. While the location is convenient for business, it is somewhat difficult to access due to Freeway construction - no fault of the property. However, the AC unit in my room was very noisy and disruptive throughout the night. Also, I rarely hear my neighbors at a HIE, but in this case I could hear heavy footsteps thumping in the room above me and in the hall above me until late in the evening. The construction of this facility must not be as good or as soundproof as others. One front desk attendant was not overly, but the one in the morning more than made up for it and proved to be very friendly and helpful. February 25, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service and Property It was very nice place to stay. We arrived late and we were checked-in quickly. Everyday staff was very friendly. Manager's social hour was a pleasant surprise. A couple things to look at is conserving energy by only removing towels on the floor and having breakfast be a little warmer. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great,friendly Service The whole experience was pleasant,however,I believe that a more responsible,environment friendly approach would go a long way with the customers which could easily be accomplished.After having stayed more than 3 months at the hotel its fair to say that i had time to observe the daily routine of the hotel staff.For example asking the guests during check in if he/she will require the daily newspaper seems very appropriate as 99% of the guests never seemed to look at them.Telling the cleaning staff not to leave the AC running the whole day after they finished cleaning the room and putting up a simple sign in the bathroom about whether we wish to have our towels washed(every single day) or not.(most hotels do it already) - are just a few ideas. I`m hoping to see some positive changes in this aspect the next time i go to stay at the hotel. December 21, 2013

We would set the air temp and then in the middle of the night it would change and then get hot. Our children loved the indoor pool. October 16, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best comfortable bed and pillows! we pulled into town was going to stay at another hotel. but remembered the comfy beds at the holiday in express we decided to see if there was one. Easy to find - at midnight the desk clerk was helpful, cheerful and got us a quiet room. The bed was so comfy I slept restful and was refreshed in the morning. We were happy to get a free coffee - not sure if there was breakfast as we left at six am to continue our travels I will always look for a holiday inn express when traveling - hoping they are all the same comfort - October 8, 2013

This was the weekend of rain close to 8-10 inches in some areas. The staff kept things clean, orderly, and dry! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Multiple Inconveniences Arrival and check-in went fairly smooth, they made sure they had the correct card on file for payment, handed me the "keys" and we were on our way. Only negative during this time is I did not receive an IHG member welcome bag. I stated at this time I would be staying 2 nights, one I would pay for and one night on rewards points. After being out for business for 12 hours, I return to a room with "keys" that had been deactivated. Before checkout the following day, front desk staff called the room saying we needed to bring a card for payment to the front desk. While these things are small they were inconveniences all the same.
