Everything in this room seemed like it would make for a wonderful stay. However, the AC unit had difficulties keeping the room at a comfortable temperature. It would continuously shut off, even though it was set at 70 degrees and it was definitely not 70 degrees in the room. In Texas summer this makes for a miserable night. I would also recommend requesting a room as far away from HWY 820 as possible. Whenever the AC unit is off, you can hear all the cars going by on the road. The hotel is very new, clean, and otherwise comfortable. And in their defense, I was in too much of a hurry to contact the management at the time of my stay, so I haven't gotten to talk to them about the issue yet.

This hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a typical hotel continental breakfast. The food is OK, and there are lots of healthy choices included. Bed was very comfortable and didn't have any problems with hearing neighbors and noise, although we did hear traffic from the interstate, which is right beside the hotel. They still have smoking rooms, which are getting harder to find! We had a handicapped room and it was very large, as was the bathroom. They do have a table in the lobby which has snacks you can help yourself to in the morning and again in the evening.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 House keeping has attitude
Desk was very friendly and helpful. This review is not directed at them. Although Housekeeping is another story. Very unprofessional, starting with what appeared to be the supervisor. Had attitude about everything. Walked around entire facility including behind front desk with unlit cigarette hanging out of her mouth. Entire housekeeping staff seemed to always be on smoke break. They had chairs and tables setup just outside side door where they always seemed to be sitting and smoking. Couldn't even use side door because of smoke. We didn't even have them clean our room in the 3 days during our stay because of attitude. We would just pickup clean towels and washrags at front desk.
