Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by pillows The only problem that we had was with the pillows. They were marked soft and hard. We could not find any difference in the two pillows on either side. It was like sleeping on a marshmellow. We were a little uncomfortable and tossed and turned most of the night. Otherwise the stop was first class. The staff was courteous and the room was nice and quiet. We always stat at this hotel on our trips south and will do so again. December 15, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Over-priced, sloppy housekeeping and noisy I got trapped in Frackville by snow and ice despite having discount coupons for IHG hotels in WB and Scranton. I saw the Holiday Inn Express sign and thought it was a gift until I tried to check in. I am a frequent IHG guest, member and have all the "other" discount program cards necessary to get a decent rate. I had to pay the most I have ever paid ($50. more than my normal stay in Scranton) and after unpacking my cooler, clothes and toiletries I discovered a filthy bathroom, that the light at the bed was burned out, and that my neighbors were going to talk loudly for hours. The front desk attendant was adorable and quick to rectify the disgusting toilet but I shall never stop in Frackville again despite my constant trekking up and down I-81. December 12, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quick Review Actually seems like a fairly new hotel. Clean and well kept. Friendly staff. Breakfast is your typical egg, sausage, fruit, cereal, etc. A Cracker Barrel is right in front of the hotel and that is a huge plus for breakfast. The only downside is the fitness room. just 2 or 3 cardio machines. Some med balls and some light weight machines would be beneficial. Overall, might be the best hotel in the area. I stay here for business purposes and drive to Schuylkill Haven. Not a bad drive. December 9, 2014
