When we checked in there were 4 names on the chalk board, identifying IHG members. There only a few cars in the parking lot. We were put in room 211, that has no view at all as we were behind the HI Express sign. What's up there? That's a con for me, we should have been in a better room. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
We got back to the room about 12:30 on Saturday and our room had not been cleaned. When the maid came by to clean we were tired and we just got some towels. It's not a huge deal, but I would have thought our room would have been cleaned by noon. The ice machine on the second floor was out and could not be fixed until Monday. So, we had to go down to the first floor for ice, a bit of an inconvenience.
I do like the location, it's right off I-64 & 127 and there's a Longhorn Steakhouse and other shops within walking distance.

Like I said before the WiFi did not work in this room on either one of our computers, Ipad and a Windows Lap Top. The Mattresses were horrible in both beds with rolling you into the center of the mattresses. When we called the front desk there was no answer on the hotel phone so I had to call on my cell phone and tell the night manager that the WiFi did not work only to be told that she would reset the WiFi and we waited two more hours and the computers still did not work. We just went to bed in frustration. In the morning I told the morning manager that the WiFi and that both of the mattresses were bad in the room and at first he just looked at me. I walked away and as I was going down the hallway he yelled at me that he would give us an additional 2,000 points for our inconvenience. Now let me get this straight, it takes 15,000 points to stay in this hotel and you are giving me 2,000 additional points for our inconvenience which when you multiply that out I would have to spend 7 1/2 more nights in a "bad" room to get reimbursed. Makes no sense. I don't want something for nothing but really 2,000 points????? The more and more that I think about that the more angrier I become. You guys need those points worse than I do.
