The bed was very good and the room very comfortable. The price is execellent value for money. I have no hesitation in recommending The Holiday Inn Express Frankfurt city-Hauptbahnhof. March 23, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location, great overnight stay. Just 2 blocks from Frankfurt Hbf, very easy to find. Staff very friendly & helpful and spoke good English. Rooms fairly basic but very clean & comfortable. Excellent walk-in shower. Security was excellent which included an in-room safe, although not quite big enough to take a laptop or tablet. Breakfast good and plentiful, bar OK. Would certainly stay there again if in the area. March 12, 2013

But Shocked to know the receptionist Frivolity... on 16th evening I had 2 guests in my room and 1 Tea Bag in the Tea Tray. I called Receptionist for 2 Tea Bags, she came to my room and said, you have to pay for these 2 tea bags. I told her, should I ask my guests to leave? seeing them she said, alright, I am giving for free this time but next time you have to pay. That was the most shocking moment of my stay January 23, 2013

The location could not have been more ideal for access to the city and the museum. The room was comfortable and well appointed.. And to be so well received while using my loyalty points was icing on the cake. The Senkenberg museum drew me here and the hotel will get my return business... January 10, 2013

Location was quite near the Hbf, just 5 minutes walk away and easy to get to the river and altstadt. Yes, would stay there again. Evening atmosphere was non existant, basically just a lobby. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Family Experience Only stayed 1 night, after my wife & 2 yr old son arrived on flight from USA to meet me after finishing business in Germany. We enjoyed the time there. It is a convenient location for the train station and seeing the city. The staff was very courteous. We were recognized as Platinum and given a very nice, large room and free WiFi. The manager and another employee delivered a folding crib for our son, even though we did not request it. It was made up with pillow and blanket and ready for him to sleep in. The curtains made the room completely dark, which was nice as my wife and son were a little jet lagged. Breakfast was pretty good. There is a good Italian restaurant right across the street. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Superb hotel Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in December 2012 when visiting the Xmas markets. Room 220 superb. According to the floor plan it is one of two large family rooms so well worth asking for this number if it's available. Reception staff very friendly and efficient as were the breakfast staff. Choice at breakfast very good - even gluten free bread for my wife. Only minor drawback was the cumbersome procedure for printing out our flight boarding cards for the return journey. Unlike other hotels who do this as a courtesy, there is a minimum 1 euro charge for 30mins internet needed to take 2 minutes to access your on-line boarding. You then have to copy and send this as an email to the front desk for printing !!!!! surely there's an easier way.................. That said, only a minor irritation. Only five minutes walk from the station and 10/15mins to the central shopping area. Can't ask for more central than that at the price. December 19, 2012

That said, one step out the front door, there is a 1000 meter perimeter which has to be negotiated to get back to the safe zone, North or South... Sums it up for me and mine. The hotel is very convenient for the railway station ( 5 minute walk ) which has frequent trains to the airport. The hotel is very comfortable with helpful and friendly staff. Usual quality of Holiday Inn Express breakfast. The hotel is about a 10/15 minute flat walk into the old town centre where the market and main shopping area is situated so all in all a good choice of hotel for a city break to Frankfurt. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Good location, new property but unfriendly staff I like the location near the main train station which is 3 stops from the airport, the hotel is new so rooms are clean with a contemporary design. But they need to work on the staff and train them to be friendly. When I showed my Ambassador Card and asked the staff whether I would get an automatic upgrade she said "you are getting a free wifi!!!" Which I was getting because I booked online as a priority club member. December 6, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So good, I've practically lived here! I've had to travel to Frankfurt quite a bit this year and since finding this hotel, I've done whatever I could to stay here. It's close enough to public transport to be able to get anywhere in the region really easily, yet seems to be out of the way of the noise of the city. In comparison with other hotels, the breakfast is nothing special but in comparison with other Holiday Inn Express hotels, it's really good. The staff are very helpful and the hotel is vey clean. Not only is the hotel closed to the central train station, we also found many interesting restaurants in the neighborhood. I can recommend this hotel to anyone who will be going to Frankfurt. Was mIsdirected how to get there by the station police so we ended up in a bad few blocks. I think it would help to give specific direction from station (ie exit , go under street etc) on their web site October 13, 2012
