Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by shubham Good location very near to exhibhition
hi i have stayed in Holiday inn express Frankfurt messe , overall it was good experience as it is very near to exhibition center .
They have similar breakfast for all 5 days but it is manageable as it is included in room .
if you are traveling for exhibition you can chose this hotel for your next stay.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ve1705 Typical HI-EX
+ Location near Frankfurt Hbf, there's a bus (line 37) going toward central station
+ Friendly staff
+ Recognition as IHG RC member
o Room amenities are frugal - it's HI-EX anyway not IC or CP so I don't mind.
o No facilities like sauna, swimming pool, or gym, but again it's HI-EX.
o Price is affordable, but it can be very expensive during weekdays.
- Breakfast: I have no idea why IHG hotels are mostly churlish when it comes to this subject. The breakfast they serve is typical Etap/F1 (no scrambled eggs or sausages), although I expect them to be at Ibis level. The other day I stayed in normal HI (not HI-EX) they serve a typical 'ibis' breakfast, although I expect 'Mercure'. So basically in the same hotel categories, IHG provide a lower level 'breakfast' categories comparing to their competitor.
- No shuttle provided during 'smaller' fair. The shuttles to Frankfurt Fair they provide is only during big expositions like 'International Bookfair' etc.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gary101 Great Staff, Central Location, 1 Concern
The good news: The rate is typically quite competitive; and the rooms are clean, current and comfortable albeit a bit on the small side; but not uncommon in Europe. Location is good to seeing Frankfurt, what isn't so great is dining options real close by; but a couple klicks, and you're there. The breakfast is well attended, and well serviced, no issues here; and usually in the room price.
English is well spoken by most staff; and they are interested in your good experience to the best of their ability.
To the concern: If you room faces the back right corner of the property; you face "the club". I don't know the name, I only know it by the vibrations that emanate from it. To be fair it's only an issue on Friday and Saturday night; all night, but it runs all day Saturday, and does not stop until circa 2pm on Sunday. Other than that; a peaceful world. If space is available, staff will cheerfully and apologetically move you to another room.
The property management seems to do the best with it that they can. I would stay again.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by JamesE27 Great stay, just poor location
2km outside the centre sin' bad, but the area you walk through, is depressing, the hotel it self is good, clean and comfortable and for the price good value, no in room wifi work round able but most importantly no safe in room, this was not I expected and meant carrying my documents and valuable with me at all times.
Breakfast (continental) was plentiful and good quality, with lots of fresh fruit and bread. I loved the comp self service coffee machine, great being able to help yourself and walk out with one. No adaptors to borrow, could buy in a vending machine for €10, brought one in town for €4, bring your own, my only advice.
Staff I encountered were helpful and my stay was pleasant, would stay Iain HI Express again, but not in this one purely on distance from town.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Srdenny Added entertainment?!
The overall location of this hotel was good - close to the main railway links and approximately 20-25 minutes from the main town. For a comfortable base to explore Frankfurt city it is well placed. HOWEVER.... the hotel and IHG in general may wish to seriously consider who their immediate neighbours are!
We arrived in the afternoon on a Friday and the hotel was very clean, rooms are what you would expect from a good Holiday Inn Express. The hotel on the whole was quiet and we were looking forward to a good night's sleep after a long day sight-seeing. To our sheer disbelief, this was not going to happen. Nextdoor to the hotel is what looks like an abandoned warehouse, but on closer inspection it is in fact an UNDERGROUND NIGHTCLUB!! - "Tanzhaus West" which is open Friday and Saturdays nights. From 22:00hrs to past 07:00hrs, this establishment played heavy and exceedingly loud techno dance music; at times it was so loud that it vibrated the glass on the bedside table!!
We were staying with another 2 friends, who had the misfortune of listening to this for both of our two nights stay. I couldn't put up with it any longer, and sought the reception staff, who to their credit were extremely helpful in finding us another room and provided bed linen to make up the sofa bed (which was not made when we moved rooms). Having spoken to the gentleman on the reception, he actually informed me that the rooms we were staying in (Rm 532 and 536) were listed as QUIET ROOMS?!?!?!!! Quiet for the deaf and extremely hard of hearing may be, but for anyone else, this was the loudest room I have ever stayed in - the bass sounded as though it was being played from under our beds!
Overall then, this hotel is well equipped for an Express, has good, friendly, helpful staff, superb breakfasts and is very clean and tidy. If you wish to stay up all night ask for the rooms on the railway side of the hotel - you get to party without having to pay an entrance fee!! If, however, you actually want to use it for what it is built for (i.e. sleeping) I would suggest you ensure you have a room at the far end of the hotel...and take your earplugs!
