The entire staff was more than pleasant. We had traveled 11 hours form Baton Rouge, LA. We arrived at 12:30am CST.
We had to leave very early as we had an additional 6 hour drive. The breakfast staff offered to make us up a bag of snacks to tide us over for the rest of our trip.
I travel extensively and stay at 5 star hotels that would not have made exceptions on the spur of the moment that the Holiday II in Franklin, TN did.

Checked in very late and staff were very accommodating. Received the last available room and it was very clean and well maintained.

We stopped at this Holiday Inn after a long drive. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was great. Plan to stay here on the way back home.

The cleanliness and friendliness of this particular hotel was exceptional. The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast was a full breakfast, very good and very much appreciated.

I'm surprised this place is within chain standards honestly. I've been spoiled by others I guess. Regardless, KY taxes are lower than TN, so the price was in range for our needed location...until somehow the check-in, who didn't check any of our IDs or credit cards, altered our reservation and confirmation number into a rate that isn't one they even offer (far higher than our veteran/government qualified version). The staff the next morning was dumbfounded too, but nothing could be adjusted since there was no manager available. They finally fixed it on the card that week, after it had hit the account initially.
The rooms are dated but pretty clean and roomy. The bed linens and pillows are nice. Our room's AC unit was broken. The other room I reserved for family was missing a microwave. I requested adjoining rooms, yet both rooms were adjoined to vacant rooms, not each other. The shower pressure was nice. The breakfast is always good in this chain. The television worked great too. Just check things out before unloading! Our full room 'slept' horribly in the stuffy heat!
