I have stayed in a lot of holiday Inns in south Texas this was one of the nicest places so far and the pool area was beautiful. All of the employees where great. Recommend this motel.

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THE HOTEL IT WAS NOT ON MAIN STREET SO IT WAS MORE QUIET THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS AND HAD AMPLE SUNLIGHT I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN IF IN FREDRICKSBURG

Here's my experience:
First off let me say the facility is amazing Rooms and Pool Area! The cleaning staff always said hello when we passed one another which was very nice too. The front desk staff horrible. Here is why:
- Attempted to over charge me (20 plus minute check in to correct)
- Did not give me the correct type room which took another complaint to fix at which the Manager spoke to me with a very stressful attitude
- Despite requesting that my rooms be next to one another months before and being told at check in they would be... they were not. The Managers response was "They cannot accommodate everyone’s request" which is understandable but a simple apology for the inconvenience would be nice since I did make the request more than two months in advance to ensure my rooms would be together.
- When going to the pool at 8:30 I was yelled twice as if I was a child and then followed by a staff member to the courtyard shouting "the pool is closed" which one I wasn’t planning on getting it since it was so cold and despite the fact the sign said the pool closes at 10pm... Oh and there were four people in the hot tub so when I was later told it was for weather reasons that made no sense because they would have closed the hot tub too if that were the case.
-At check out I never was asked how my stay was, whether or not I enjoyed my stay, I was not welcomed to come back in the future, and they had me sign my receipts for a second time just because I asked for a copy.
-When my sister went back to get names of people that was the only point in time anyone showed any concern.

Recently stayed here for the third time. Definitely enjoyed the trip AGAIN. This time we had a room with a balcony and enjoyed sitting outside at night overlooking the pool with the fire pit. Breakfast choices were excellent, and the furnishings of the room are great. Definitely allowed a great night's sleep in a luxurious room. Staff was friendly. Although I wish it was a bit less expensive, but overall, it is my favorite place to stay in Fredericksburg. Planning a return trip soon.

I arrived a day early and Eldon at the front desk assisted by adding another night. He also looked up my Priority Club number and applied it to my account. He had a great attitude especially since I checked in at 11:30 PM.

We were told that the hotel was full before we drove to Fredericksberg. When we got there, we checked with the hotel, and, sure enough, they had had a cancellation and we were able to get a lovely room.
This hotel is as good as a hotel can be.

Everything was so new and nice! Loved the spaciousness of the rooms and the pool area was so relaxing! Loved staying here and would recommend it over all the other hotels in the area!

Our experience at this hotel was excellent from arrival through departure. The front desk team was there to help with great information and warm Texas smiles. Arrival for breakfast each included a warm good morning from the hostess in the well stocked breakfast area. Hallways, room and laundry area were exceptionally clean and organized. Great location and great overall experience and a great bargain. We will definitely stay there again!

One of the most enjoyable stays at a motel a person could ask for anywhere. Very clean, comfortable, pleasant staff, convenient to all landmarks and main street Fredericksburg, Texas. Will look forward to our next stay at a Holiday Inn Express. My only dislike is their coffee but it is just not to my liking and such a minor complaint. You may enjoy the coffee so never let that be a cause for not choosing Holiday Inn Express. Happy trip in Texas

We just did a day of driving from Dallas and had palns in the AM for some sight seeing and I went to my Holiday Inn app on my phone and found this magnificent Holiday Inn Express. The staff was so helpful and friendly with dining suggestions and thing to do in Fredricksburg it was Great.

Nice find. Use Express often when we travel. This one is a great find and a nice location. Walked all downtown area and back to hotel. Did not use pool (too Cool) but looked fantastic. If we had young kids again, this would be a place we would use often. Good place to bring grandkids.

This place is very nice for a weekend getaway to Fredericksburg. I only wish it was warm enough to get in the pool because it looks amazing! Can't wait to go back when it is warmer so i can enjoy it :) Very clean and great location. Loved everything about it.

This was a great place to stay. It was built only 6 months ago so everything is new and clean. I had to only give average on the staff and services because our room was not cleaned. After, I had requested the room to be cleaned every day. There were three stay at home moms staying in a large suite ( which is about all you could fit even if they say four) and the last thing we wanted to do is pick up our room on vacation! When I asked for clean towel they were just thrown in the room. Disappointing. Also, when I made the reservation I asked if Main street was in walking distance to their location. I was told it was 2 blocks. Well, it was the 2 longest block ever and you had to drive. Also disappointing since no one wanted to drive after cocktails. These 2 reason would not stop me from staying there again because it was nice and affordable. But I do think it is something people should be aware of before booking. Especially the distance from all the wine tasting rooms!

This hotel was exceptional...The facility was very clean and located within minutes of all the shops we visited in Fredricksburg. Staff was amazing and the pool incredible. Will definately stay here in the future.

a beautiful addition to the Frksbg community. My visit was for Thanksgiving with some of my family who have a second home there. Location was perfect for my purposes. Didn't take advantage of breakfast as I joined family for that. found the in-room coffee excellent.

This is the nicest Holiday Inn Express in all of our travels. The pool is resort class, and we were really disappointed that the weather had cooled too much for us to enjoy it. The King Suite was perfect, and we hated to check out and come home. We will definitely be returning to your fine property. Thank you!

I had stayed at an old Holiday Inn in Fredericksburg--now closed.
I made reservation here thinking it was the same place. There is no comparison. The pool in the back is lovely. The staff friendly and helpful. New facility and quite nice. I would highly recommend.

This was my first time to Fredericksburg and I am glad I stayed at this hotel. Man what a beautiful facility and great people running it!!! I travel throughout Texas for business and do stay at other Holiday Inn hotels but I have to say this is one if not the nicest ones I have ever stayed at! If you have a chance you would not go wrong if you stayed here and in the summer time I will be back because they have on of the finest pool areas you have ever seen at these types of hotels.
I WOULD RECCOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO EVERONE!!!

Facility is clean and comfortable. The pool area is beautiful and not your standard mid-range hotel pool. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was good. Price seemed a little high, but then it was a weekend rate and there was nothing negative about our stay experience. Really enjoyed the balcony overlooking the pool as it was the perfect spot to rest and relax after a busy day of sightseeing. Yes, it is walking distance to downtown - but not a close walk and traffic is really busy without a good sidewalk the entire way to town. I definitely would not try to walk to town with children or if you're not in relatively good walking shape!

Overall, I was very satisfied. The room appeared very clean with a neutral smell, the bathroom was large, the beds were firm with plenty of pillows. The large flat-panel TV was just just the right size for the room, and the space itself was rather roomy. The free breakfast was standard, with pastries and fruit and whatnot, but there was also hot food like eggs, bacon, and biscuits with gravy. The hotel is also close to Main Street in Fredericksburg, walking distance if you're so inclined.

It's new and it smells bad. Gave me a headache. I would not recommend this hotel in its present state. Overly priced for a Holiday Inn Express.
