Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by March Break Respite We had quite an enjoyable stay at this hotel are were very pleased with the attentiveness and courtesy of the staff. The room was clean and well appointed and average as far as value goes. The toughest part of our stay was getting into the place off the highway as there is little to no signage. A bit frustrating after 14 hours of driving. Otherwise a great stay! March 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Hot water would have been nice. I tried to shower on the morning of 3/14 and could not get hot water. Went to the manager on duty and asked for some assistance. He gave me a key to another room. No hot water there either. Let bothe showers run for more than 15 minutes. Ended up taking a cold shower that morning. went to the desk to check out and the manager didin't even ask if I was satified with the other shower. I then said "in case you were wondering, there was no hot water in the other room either". He said "I'm sorry to hear tht". Then didn't say another word while looking at his computer for 2-3 minutes. Handed me a receipt. I asked for a refund and he said that he would refund me. 4 days later I was still charged for the room. Really poor expirience at this hotel. The cold shower was bad enough but the cold shoulder from the manager was an even bigger letdown. March 24, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good value Our stay was pleasant and restful. The room layout was super, with a separate room for tv watching. When my husband could not sleep, he watched tv in the living room area and I was not disturbed. The furniture was the only bad part of the hotel. Old and dated, with the finish damaged with what looks like a bad cleaning solution. The top drawer of the high boy only stayed closed when I crumpled up a piece of paper and stuck it in between the drawer and the cabinet. That furniture has to go! Other wise, the staff were super and the room clean and quiet. If we have to stay in the Fredericksburg area, we will definitely stay here, March 18, 2015
