The staff was very courteous and check in was quick and easy. The ammenities were good....indoor pool, gym , ice and soda machine on every floor. Snacks available for purchase in the lobby. It is close to restaurants, shopping and I-95. Highly recommend it June 19, 2014

The parking is very limited and the nearby bar attracts patrons that use up hotel parking so if you get back to your room after 7 PM or so you will not find a parking space. breakfast is OK but the pancake machine can't keep up when there are a lot of guest. housekeeping starts cleaning too early IMHO and if you sleep inn your room will not get cleaned that day unless you specifically call the front desk and ask for it. the hotel is clean, staff is nice. At time of visit construction on roads but still easy to access. June 19, 2014

Check-in was a breeze and the Front Desk staff was more than helpful, particularly when I had questions about parking availability. The measuring stick of a hotel's 'worth' is when the 'better-half' gives a 'thumbs-up'. If the hotel is not super-clean, comfortable and worth the price, we'll find one that is. This Fredericksburg (Virginia) location was all of that! During our stay, the hotel was booked to capacity each early! We were in town (for the 1st time) to attend a funeral, so we didn't need any 'hotel drama' to add to the already emotionally draining reason for the trip to Virginia (from Oklahoma). Thanks, Holiday Inn Express and Suites Fredericksburg! You-all made our stay/trip enjoyable! June 18, 2014

Staff wasn't that friendly.In fact,I had called earlier prior to check in just to notify that I would require a late night check-in. Was told that the hotel was completely booked and that after midnite my room would no longer be guaranteed even though I had made my reservation 1 month prior with a credit card on file.I felt a lot of pressure to arrive before midnite in fear that I would have no place to stay that night. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by THE BEST HI EXPRESS! OUTSTANDING SERVICE I guess it starts with the general manager Mr Hai who was very accommodating to my requests. He tries to make your visit as pleasant as possible. The front desk staff (Mendy) are excellent and professional. Jintea is outstanding and will go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. Gave me printed directions and recommendations for places to eat. She was both the concierge and front desk attendant for me! She definitely brings her A game to work and is a true professional. The cleaning staff do a great job and the rooms are spotless. This place is popular and was sold out most nights I was there so book ahead. Thanks again for the great service!!! June 13, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Thin walls I could hear all of the people in the rooms next to mine and above me. Made it hard to sleep when at 11pm the guy next door was on his phone for an hour. I could hear everything! Besides that, the hotel is nice. Very clean and comfortable. June 11, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good Service - Issue with Bathroom This hotel was in the middle of our trip from FL to NY. We have stayed here before with no issues except finding a place to eat. We traveled south to the next exit and found a great shopping area with plenty of restaurant choices just 5 minutes away. The hotel staff should be able to communicate this option to quests. The Bathroom shower did not drain water and we were standing in water during our showers. We left early morning and the breakfast did not start until 7:00am. They should at least serve coffee for the early travelers. June 11, 2014

While the couch could have been better, the beds were wonderful. Breakfast was great in a wonderful room. The pancake griddle wasn't working for the day we were there but there were plenty of other options. The staff was so helpful in storing our three bicycles for us during our stay. June 10, 2014

Beds comfortable. Sofa kind of old. Breakfast was everything we wanted and needed. Indoor pool was fine. June 4, 2014

The location is not close to any good eating places, or none the staff could recommend. The one recommended next door looked okay but the entrance is next to the bar area with a strong scent of cigarette smoke as you walk in and that was a turn off, we didn't stay. Other choices were fast food types. Even though we were on the fifth floor we could hear noise below from the entrance especially motor cycles. The ding of elevator bell could be heard through the door as well as conversations in the hall and other guest room doors closing. The rooms are clean and comfortable enough and the breakfast is like most other properties of the chain, basic. May 28, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good staff and clean This property would have been 5 star across the board except for the fact that we could hear every footfall from the room above, and each time their toilet flushed it made so much noise in the wall it sounded like we would be flooded at any moment. Parking was not the best and was further limited by the fact that a number of spaces at the side of the building flooded badly during a rain, to the point of soaking the interiors. The staff did warn guests of this possibility and had a notice posted but fixing the issue would be better alternative. May 20, 2014

Check in was efficient and the front desk clerk, Preston Coates, was extremely helpful. Out room on fifth floor was quiet, spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The free breakfast on Sunday morning was great - fresh and arm food was available: scrambled eggs, turkey sausage patties, pancakes, cinnamon buns, and more. The breakfast area had more than enough seating and the area was well attended by staff and was kept clean. Accessing to the hotel was convenient and a few restaurants were within walking distance. A chain convenience store was nearby if one needed to get gas or other essentials. I can't really find anything that was negative with our stay at Holiday Inn Express on Warrenton Road. May 5, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unhappy traveler Recent stay at this property became problematic as I left my iPad and toiletry kit behind. Quickly realizing I made several phone calls to alert the hotel. After a few calls within 8 hours of my checkout I was told my items were not found. I had proof using an application to find my iPad that showed it was at the location. This program has since been deactivated. I have had no follow up from the manager who promised to investigate the incident. I find the communication lacking and was disappointed in the managements ability to follow up after the initial contact. You have lost a possible repeat customer! April 30, 2014
