One night stay, asked for information from clerk and got what we needed. Would definitely stay there again when in the north VA area.

I have always stayed at Holiday Inn's, never have I been disappointed as I have on this stay. First of all, we had difficulty finding this hotel, when I reserved it we were told that it was off the highway exit. Also, when we arrived, no parking spaces left. Parking lot is small and does not accommodate the size of this hotel. Certainly, does not meet the needs of the area. Very busy, hustle /bustle outside, so many people hanging around the area. You didn't know who was staying at the hotel or just hanging around. When we called the hotel for directions, There was a young man, "Moe" who didn't help much and acted like it was a bother to give us directions. Lets say "Lack of motivation" is the first impression when we finally arrived. No concern , no professionalism, no comments for anything. The staff at the front desk need to be friendlier, accommodating ,approachable and helpful. We actually stopped at another Holiday Inn in the area to ask for directions to our hotel, the young lady was so helpful. She called the other hotel to assure that we had our reservation intact. We would of loved to stay there.But no availability. When we finally came to our room it was damp, carpets were moist to touch, musty smell, not a very clean room. Just very disappointed. We travel quite abit and on business, and Canada. WE will never stay at another Holiday Inn. With the competition so tight, accommodating the customers should be first priority. I hope that this feedback will be taken seriously and changes are made to the positive. In hopes that someday we will return back. Good luck with your endeavors.
