Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed the hotel must have been an older hotel, but I was sure it was newer. the rooms were small and crowded. Unlike other HIX I have used (and I use them because of this) this room did not give me adequate space to do the work I needed to do in preparation for my meetings. In addition, even though i left late morning EVERY morning I was there so the room could be cleaned and refreshed it was NEVER done until middle to late afternoon. Couldn't understand that. Again, much different that other times at other HIX. September 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff really helpful We stay at this hotel regularly. We had a mix up with our reservation and at check in the clerk asked if it was accurate. She was able to switch our rooms to what we needed. The rooms are comfortable, and the beds are great. We love having the refrigerator in the room. The breakfast is awesome. Would highly recommend this hotel. September 5, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great staff, relaxing and safe Excellent customer service. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to make sure any questions were answered and dealt with immediately. Only issue was one that is common across chains: for the more expensive price, I'd prefer there to be more smart environmental choices and options with toiletry products, general cleaning and building practices, and food choices... this may not be particularly important for the demographic using this Holiday Inn, but it is becoming more mainstream, and is definitely important. I think customers would be very happy to see some changes in place! September 3, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Galesburg Great hotel used for a one-night visit on the way to Minnesota. The staff is VERY helpful and friendly, and had a lot of information about local establishments plus maps on how to get to them. The room was extremely comfortable, and the pool/jacuzzi was a very welcome way to relax. You may need to drive a mile or two to find something beyond fast food. The staff will explain it all to you without any problems. September 2, 2014

The location about 1 block off I-74 couldn't be better, yet hotel rooms are very quiet. The staff is always very friendly. Parking is no problem, the hotel allows pets which is wonderful with a great area nearby to walk the pets. The hotel is always clean, breakfast is standard Holiday Inn Express which is fine with me.
