The garbage truck came at 7:AM. Needless to say that was too early for a hotel. The lobby could use some updating and cleaning. Surprised to see bathroom vanity right at the door when you open it. Bed was comfortable. We felt it was overpriced.

Never ran across this before. If you send laundry it returns the same day. It appears to be laundered at the property (Dry cleaning returns the next day!). I used the laundry ($5) - shirt returned promptly but not ironed. Used the iron only to have it transfer black debris to the white shirt. Yes, the irons are substandard in hotels EVERYWHERE and it is because of the guests but can't housekeeping check these?

I stayed at the hotel while my daughter was visting Knox! Very comfortable room and the staff was very pleasant and helpful! I would recommend this hotel!

Whenever I need to reset my personal "reset button" I head to the Holiday Inn Express in Galesburg. The staff is absolutely great, top-notch! The hotel is always clean and neat and my room is always a nice temperature when I arrive. I enjoy using the indoor pool and hot tub, they are always in great working order and clean and neat, too. Breakfast is always fresh and hot.
My child attends Knox College in Galesburg and the Holiday Inn Express is a short drive from there. The Holiday Inn Express is also close to the Dick Blick Outlet Store! Galesburg is a very nice place to visit, eat great pizza and shop for art supplies and visit my child, of course. Thanks Holiday Inn Express, see you soon!

First off the front desk staff was super nice and helpful. I had an issue a few days later with a charge I did not understand, and the manager was very quick to respond and reassure me all was ok. SUPER STAFF!!
Next, Our room was already heated up for us and the room was super clean. The bed was a little hard for my liking but my husband found it to be perfect for him. So it depends on your prefernce. That's not a bad thing. The bathroom was very clean, tv was good sized, and the bed was very clean. All in all in was a very nice night of relaxation.
The next morning we could smell breakfast as we awoke and it was very tantalizing. The variety of food was wonderful. Fruit, cereal, cinnamon rolls, eggs, gravy and biscuits, pancakes, etc... The staff was ever so nice and helpful. My husband was having trouble finding the password for the internet and 2-3 workers were right there to help us out and were very very friendly.
This is a definate stop for us again when coming through Galesburg. Thank you for such a wonderful nights stay!!

The halls had Dogs and Smokers on the floor designated NO Smoking and NO pets because those individuals with allergies can feel their presents even when they're not seen..Also, there was a dog in the breaskfast area. The hide-a-bed in our room had dirty sheets, the front desk was very apologetic and was quick to take care of the problem, but it shouldn't have been! And we had a new roll of TP that someone in housekeeping stuffed an empty chip bag into, if they (housekeeping) do that to the TP, what else? We treat the staff with respect and we also tip, so we expect some consideration as often as we stay at the Galesburg Holiday Inn.

When I made a reservation, I specifically requested top floor, far from elevator because I knew the holiday weekend was likely to be noisy. I got a second floor room next to the elevator directly above the lobby speakers (which I coud hear all night) and pounding running above me. No explanation. I'll never stay again.

This hotel continues to be used for many Galesburg stays. The staff is very courteous and welcoming - Derek, Jackie, Annette, and Grace are wonderful and always acknowledge a return visit.

Room needs a through cleaning(clean behind bed, night stand etc). Need new firmer mattress. Both queens were in desperate need of new mattresses, for they are now sagging and lumpy. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The Rooms were clean; quiet and comfortable. Close to the interstate, but you would never know it. The breakfast were as good as one could expect, with VERY friendly staff. If I have a reason to return to the area I will stay there again.

My extended family and I attended a funeral in a town nearby and the accommodations and the easy on/easy off the highway made this trip hassle free. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our special needs. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others!

We usually stay at this Holiday Inn in Galesburg when we're visiting our son at Knox College. It's a wonderful place -- convenient and comfortable with a friendly staff, good breakfast, and nice rooms. We have NEVER been disappointed!

Great Breakfast. The staff was very nice. The room was a two bed room, very clean. I liked the location as there was a grocery store and gas station just a short distance away. The parking was excellent. with one way in and out. I highly recommend this facility to anyone visiting Galesburg.
