The accommodations were excellent and the location of the hotel to my business meeting was very good...I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast cookies.fruit in the lobby.daily newspaper...the rooms were very clean and comfortable as was the mattress...I would certainly stay at this hotel again in the future and would recommend to associates...

Good quality but the pricing is creeping up. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I travel alone and I always feel safe and I am able to rest.

Spent a lot of time here and really got to know the place and enjoy the good staff. Always taken care of when needed and even special requests during breakfast. Good people combined with good clean rooms will in most cases equal a good quality stay. I will add this location to my favorites for possible future use.

A beautiful property in a great location. Super friendly staff, fast internet, very nice rooms. I generally have good luck with HI Express but this stay exceeded my expectations. I would (will) definitely stay here again if I am in the area. In fact, I would probably plan my trip to ensure I passed through Gallup - it was really that nice of a stay.

Guest service is friendly, prompt and courteous. The decor is thoughtfully done, and the rooms are quiet although the freeway and train are nearby. The staff is execeptional! I so appreciated my overall experience at this hotel.

Holiday Inn in Gallup overall was fine. Shortly after arriving in attempted to check email. The wifi service was erratic and I was dumped out as the signal went up and down.
I contacted front desk around 4:30 pm and mentioned the problem and told the clerk he could simply re-boot the hotel router. He told me I should contact Tech Services and explain the problem I told him that I was a guest in the hotel and it was not my job to do that. He then got condescending to me and developed an attitude and I saw that it was no use speaking with him any longer. I shut down my computer...figuring I could check email later. I lay down to take a nap.
Around 5 pm, the clerk called back and said he had tech support on the line and that I should talk with them. My wife told him it didn’t matter because we had shut down the computer and weren’t going to use it anyway. He then threatened my wife saying he was going to make a “report” because we refused to talk to tech support. We explained again that there was no need because we were not going to avail ourselves of the wifi anyway. Conversation ended. My wife was very upset at this turn of events. I don’t like being threatened by hotel staff…don’t need it. We stay at holiday inns almost exclusively, since we are IHG shareholders, and this is the first time we have been treated in such a rude, condescending, and threatening manner. The next time we are in Gallup we will not stay at this Holiday Inn.
