About average hotel with a nice view of the Gulf. Room was comfortable and clean. Fitness center is a sad joke.

even though in the sealine area, the comfort and quiet of the area is great for relaxing. Not too far from good restaurants and stores. I enjoyed all. Too bad about the slow wifi and the pancake machine out of order but I am sure its a pontual situation

The stay in this hotel was overall good experience. Clean and good property with clear view of the sea.
Two things need attention.
The room windows of Balcony dont have full Curtons, so Light stars coming early in the morning on your bed, wakes you up at 5:00am.
The Wireless internet has poor signals into the room, and it was keep on disconnecting.

I reserved this hotel for my parents prior to their cruise based on my past experiences with Holiday Inn Express. I made the reservation days in advance, and when I tried to confirm my reservation it did not exist. after spending over 30 minutes on the phone I was told that the manager had up to 48 hours to return my call...never got the call. So i called again the day before they were to arrive, and their reservation was suddenly there. So they arrived, and checked into thier room. After talking to them around 8pm my mother informed me that the lights werent functioning, the coffee pot had missing parts, the clock was broken and the phone didnt work. I told her she needed to go to the fron desk to have the issues fixed. They tried to offer them a downgraded room to two double beds. They were in a king room. My mother insisted they fix the issues, but they upgraded them to a suite instead. Ok, happy with that so we though...while they were sleeping, around 11:00pm someone unlocked their door, and entered the room. My parents woke up, and heard someone say "theres somone in here". needless to say, they did NOT rest at all for the remainder of the night. They voiced their concerns with the manager the next day. He was not at all concerned with the situation and did what he could to shoo them away as fast as possible. I am VERY disappointed in the experience they had at your hotel. Very let down that my elderly parents were expecting a nice stay and did not get it.

Good service, clean rooms, nice staff. I would recommend this hotel. the only thing i don't like about holiday in express is the check out time. it should be at least 1'o clock. but it s 11 am.

Ive live in Houston my whole life and I travel the states quite oftern.
In short they had just shampooed the carpet and maybe they should not have let anyone stay in that room that night.
It felt like I was in a pool and when I went downstairs and asled to move and she was like "whatever". Anyway still and IHG guy,.

uncomfortable. I have nothing else I want to say. I can understand having a maximum number of characters, but requiring a minimum of 50 is inappropriate.
