Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location, comfortable room and friendly staff The location of this hotel was fabulous - not too far from anything, but not right in the middle of all the noise and hustle and bustle. The staff was great.. I went down to the desk and asked several questions about local attractions and the lady there was very friendly and helpful. We loved our room. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean, and we had a balcony that we really enjoyed. March 29, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and great service The lady at the front desk was very friendly and very gracefully took care of our request to be moved from the 4th floor to the first floor. The bed and pillows were wonderful, we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was awesome. we would highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express and will stay here again when we go back to Galveston. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent staff in time of need I prepaid for two nights for my wife and mother-in-law at this hotel. One day into the stay, at 3:00 AM, they received a phone call that her dad had been rushed to the hospital. They had to leave immediately. The staff was excellent in assisting in their immediate departure. While they didn't make it to the hospital in time before he passed, I will always be grateful for the help given by the late night staff at the hotel. I fully expected to just "eat" the second day at the hotel, but a couple of days later, I saw a credit for the second day on my card. I was already thankful, but that was a real class act.
