Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Customer Service We had great customer service here when we arrived. Didn't get his name, but he did everything right. He was the bald (sorry) guy that works the night shift. I've stayed in MANY Holiday Inn, and his greeting and club member recognition/appreciation upon our late check-in was really refreshing and I felt valued as a IHG member. Thank you. In fact, I stayed in 3 other IHG hotels within the previous weeks, and this was the first to offer me my club welcome package! Hotel was comfortable too. Some stains on the bathroom walls, but everything else was clean. Sofa bed was not comfortable at all, but the bed was. Air conditioning was powerful and adjustable. Pool towels were thin and too small. Pancake maker was SLOW, but made good pancakes. Loved that they had name brand oatmeal and yogurt, lots of variety of food. Coffee not too great, but that's IHG all together. The dining room staff were very friendly as well and they kept the place and tables very clean. They ran out of butter, but the lady there searched around and was determined to find me one, and she that's service! All of the IHG should learn from them in terms of customer service. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Old version of Holiday inn express Very disappointing stay after many other stays at HI express. Normally they are fresh and pleasant. Room was not ready when arriving after 15:00 with employee saying that hotel was fully booked night before as it was not their problem. Secondly the coffee was empty in lobby during waiting. At third the aircondition was making extreem loud noise. Further a smelly room but that is I guess due to the aging room. August 20, 2014
