Very quiet and actually got told to quiet down since we were eating dinner above them.

The ratings above are based upon value for money - I tended to check the price for the hotel on a regular basis before booking and on each occasion stayed in a King Suite for under $80 per night.
At that price then the hotel is in our opinion excellent value for money.
In October 2012 we did have a couple of issues with the breakfast where they were not keeping up to speed with repleneshing supplies but the Manager was extremely apologetic and clearly cared which cannot always be said about some hotels.
Great location and I would strongly recommend at the prices we have paid.

The front desk clerk was excellent. She checked me in at 8 pm and then was there again the next morning checking me out at 8:30 am. Yoon was extremely nice!

I recently stayed twice at Garden Groove for 4 days each. Both the times I did not get my Reward points. I was not aware why this happened. Please get this fixed.

Very clean and comfortable HI. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice job on the hot breakfast everyday too! I will definitely stay here next time I am in Orange County.

I was very disappointed in our experience with your hotel. The heater was so loud that I couldn't sleep. The room was either too hot or too cold.

Overall an average good HIE. BUT there was no hot water for morning shower and clerk reported that it had been a problem for over a WEEK! My wife had Dr. appointment early that morning and had to go without a shower! Water came back hot just as we were having to leave for doctor. Not a good thing. Apparently, the budget is too tight at this HI Express if they did not take measures to assure it would not happen after the first event a week earlier. Also it appears that maids had used up all the hot water in the morning (?) while washing linens (?) in the morning ? Not a good time to do laundry when guests are gonna be showering....don't you think.? It will not keep us from staying at HIE but I feel I wasted my Priority Club Points this time. Getting them back would be a nice courtesy. Staff was courteous and food was fine and room was clean and nicely maintained. A/C-Heater unit rattled so badly we put the Bible and shoes on top of the grating to stop it.
PS You do NOT have to post this...just fix it!!!

Coudn't asleep all night long. There were noises above us and out in the hall. Breakfast was alright. The hotel location is not in a good location. There isn't anything nearby or within walking distance.

The room was nice. The important thing about a room is that it's clean, and our room was. A/C unit in room was a little noisy, but aren't they all. It wasn't too loud to prevent sleep. The big difference for me is the staff. We've stayed at this hotel on 3 or 4 separate occassions, and each time the staff has made us feel very welcome, and important. They have always helped us with any problem or need that has arisen.

We have stayed at this property several times. Every time with the exception of this one was to our satisfactory. This time the rooms had a musty smell in them. The bathrooms were not as clean as one would like. The sink in one of the bathrooms had a terrible odor every time the water was turned on. The breakfast area was not fully stocked for such a busy time....NO Fruit or yogurt at all. During dining hours hot foods were depleted. We were also disappointed to not see any Christmas decorations..like a tree that we have seen in the past. It is convenient to Disneyland Park. There was also a homeless man asking for money and food right outside the entrance. It made us feel not so very safe. We brought our family and shared what a great experience they would have...well that was not so. Our expectations failed us and them. The worst was that we were offered to buy Park tickets and were told the price...we would have saved over $100....when we chose to purchase them we were told that they were out and there wasn't any ambition from the staff to try and acquire them for us. We were told it would be two weeks...well we were only there for three nights. =( Not good business. All in all..would we stay there again? Possibly...but not if we can find another hotel. We had originally been booked at the Express Hotel across from the park however at the last minute we were phoned that there would be heavy construction/remodeling being done without an offer to reduce the rate...so we scrambled at the last minute and chose this hotel knowing (should not have been so confident) that it was one of our favorites anyway. Bad choice.

This is our 3rd or 4th time here. Room were always clean, staff was courteous, and the breakfast was fast and adequate with a lot of choices. We have family spread all over Orange County, so the location is great. We will definitely stay here again.

Staff was friendly, room was clean and nice. Free internet access and breakfast are all I really need in a hotel, both were offered. Only problem I had was the water to our room was warm, but I prefer unbearably hot showers. I will be returning to this hotel again.

Very quiet hotel. Never heard any noise during a 10-day stay. Rooms very comfortable. Staff was exceptional and always very helpful. Breakfast was typical HIE but lacked variety of fruit and didn't have low-fat yogurt. Breakfast room next to pool was nice. Loved the large, flat screen TV in the room.

This hotel is beautiful and I would definitely stay here again. Everything was nice and clean. I was able to get a good nights sleep for the 3 nights that I was there. I will definitely stay here again!

Overall good. Comfortable beds. Small things to change. AC needs to go a little colder, said 65 but doubt it. Would be nice if there were a couple towel racks. Most HIE I have been in have a room fridg. Would be a plus. Staff was helpfull. Minor-Landscape crew trimmed a chive bed at the back door and left clippings all over. Had to walk through in and out which made for smelly shoes and hallway.

The room met our expectations as usual, comfortable big bed, nice pillows, big and functional bathroom. We noticed that the iron provided with the room was faulty so we reported it immediately to the staff along with a leaking faucet and a do not disturb tag that was missing. They were able to serve us in a matter of minutes even if it was a Sunday. Also, we noticed that the back door was not recognizing our key card which they promptly fixed. The breakfast room had a nice acces to the pool with a patio that it's really nice if you enjoy the morning fresh air.
