The breakfast buffet , while adequate, could be improved with some variety and quality items, rather than cheap generic products. The creamed beef could be served more often and made to taste better. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Highly Recomend Very comfortable rooms with fluffy pillows and awesome mattress. Staff is very nice. I stay in a lot of hotels for business and when I know I am coming to Gaylord I look forward to this hotel. The price is a bit higher than other hotels but I believe you get what you pay for and have no interest in trying any other hotel in the Gaylord area. Thanks!! December 6, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Needs repairman Toilet drain in room 126 is partially plugged. Shower curtain was to short to fit in tug securely. Plunger was worn out. Shower handle about to fall off. Coffee basket didn't drain into pot-messy. Etc. Minor fixes that were keeping the wonderful young girl at desk mighty busy. I don't think my room was her only problem. November 29, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Needed 4 wheel drive to leave! The Gaylord Holiday Inn staff, as always, were welcoming and my room was clean and ready when I arrived. Breakfast in the morning was hot and plentiful. However, the Gaylord area received over a foot of snow overnight and the parking lot was not plowed prior to my departure (8:30am) and one poor soul was tasked with a shovel to clear the sidewalks and even the breakfast hostess was pressed into shoveling. One guest in a three piece suit was stuck trying to leave and the breakfast hostess had to push him out by hand. Evidently the ownership thinks the noise of snow removal would bother the guests. I would gladly put up with early snow removal noise, including snow blowers to clear the sidewalks, rather than wade thru knee deep snow to get to my vehicle in the morning. I stay in other snow prone areas and always view the early morning snow removal clatter as a sign of good guest service, not as an annoyance. November 28, 2014
