Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by pook wonderful room for a handicapped person.
Our room was across the hall from the breakfast and down the hall from the pool. Perfect location for my bro-in-law who has had a stroke and has difficulties walking. We were concerned about the ladder going into the hot tub. It didn't feel as secure as we would have liked when my bro-in-law used it. And, he had trouble using the shower. He accidentally dropped the shower handle and the water sprayed all over the bathroom floor as well as into the carpeted area before he could pick it back up.
The staff here was excellent. They moved our reserved room to the more convenient one and they also were polite and friendly whenever we contacted them.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Brian1958 Not great, but better than most
Was travelling on business. Had a nice stay, but found the accommodations to be not up to par with other HI's that I have stayed at. The staff was cordial, but not overly friendly. Breakfast bar was average.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great place to stay
Great place to stop, Staff treats you like family, friendliest Holiday Inn I have ever stayed, they go out of their way for snowmobilers too, very convienient set up, clean pool and strict enough not to hear partys all night.

This by far has been the longest stay ever in a hotel for a work assignment. I found the staff very courteous and helpful. The room was quiet and clean. Facilities were good although I would recommend an update to the exercise equipment and make the dry sauna functional again. Overall a good experience. BTW, my hat is off to the snowplow man! His efforts were observed and very much appreciated during the second snowiest February on record since 1940!

Originally we wanted to stay for 2 days, and could not be accommodated, therefore we had to book one of our nights at a competitor hotel. I kept calling and eventually they got us in for our 2nd night, so we were very pleased. Thank you.

We stayed at this location Feb 8-10, 2013 for a hockey tournament. All of the staff, from front desk to housekeeping to the breakfast room were friendly and helpful. The woman working the breakfast room was very attentive making sure that everything was replenished quickly.
Their complimentary breakfast was great. They had pancakes, biscuits, gravy, sausage or bacon, eggs, juices, coffee, pastries, muffins, fruit, yogurt, milk, cereal, oatmeal and toast .
I did not use the pool but it did look nice and seemed to be clean. The rooms themselves were clean and updated. The common areas were clean but plain and devoid of any "style," but this is an Express so I was not expecting anything grand.
I wasn't disappointed with anything.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by dtowndown Below typical HIE standards
I was not impressed with the facilities, the entry doors were broken and always stay open. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pool and Jacuzzi we broken, or "being repaired" .The only elevator access in the front of the building. Not very warm and accommodating as most HIE's are.

When we arrived we were informed that neither the pool or hot tub was operational. Now if I had known this information at the time of booking I would have gone elsewhere. We were also told that it was being worked on. It never got fixed.
Half the doors (locks) did not work so I would have to walk almost to the main entrance to enter and all the way to the North to my room. Yes I had an exit 10feet from my door but lock broken.
I stay at H.I. because of the ammenaties I like to be able to relax especially when I am staying a week.
Very dissapointed in this stay and property. I had sent email previously to get this addressed, and I have yet to get reply from IHC, dont know why as I have always had any issue or correspondence has been addressed.
