It rather easy to get to Town and places with the Tram. I enjoy the tram ride. There is big shopping Mall just 1-2 stop from the hotel, which has more of the shop there.
The hotel is quiet and I have a good rest in the queen bed with a choice of soft and normal pillow.

Particularly one young lady who spoke excellent english and who had prepared some small introductory notes about how to get around, what to see where to shop and where to eat. I recommend her warmly.

We were in room 421
the room was stuffy air condition was on but did not work, a worker came to open the window - which didn't open very much & therefore was also insufficient
shower mix (hot & cold) wasn't working so either we were scalded by hot or remained cold
a very disappointing experience

The hotel is pretty much what I expected. The staff there at check inn made the stay less than what I wanted for our last day in Europe. The young man was a somewhat "know it all" giving just enough info to answer a question. The other staff member when asked how to get to the airport gave is really bad info on how to return the rental car. The staff the next day was good. Having a knowledgeable and friendly staff makes a big difference in the stay experience.

We had as you know booked 1 double and 1 triple room for our children. We arrived late, and exhausted after a long day and were rising to leave for the airport at 4:45am to catch our homeward flight, via London for Kenya. So a short night and a long day ahead, with sleep being a priority which is why we chose to stay as close to the airport as possible.
When we checked in to our rooms the triple bed was not made up - it was a closed sofa bed – we called your reception and before we could explain the problem he said he was busy and would call us back. After another 10 minutes he called us and I explained the problem that one bed was not made up. He said he would have to wait for the driver to come back from the airport as he was alone on the reception desk.
After another 20 minutes – the driver who had collected us from the airport came to our room and pulled down the sofa bed. He then had to go again and get sheets. By this time we had been in the room for over an hour and the children needed to get to sleep but one could not as they were yet to have a bed. I have to commend this individual – he was helpful and doing his best at multi tasking.
The sofa bed was not level and a very uncomfortable night was spent in the sofa bed – the sheets were placed on the bed and could not even be tucked in?
Secondly we were expecting to have a free transfer the following morning from the hotel to the airport – instead we were charged Ch 30 for this transfer together with another 6 or 7 people – which means that the hotel were charging over ch 300 for this 5 minute transfer

It seems like you did not enjoy your stay and I am sorry for the sofa bed that was not made upon arrival. These sofabeds are generally made for children up to 18 years and I apologize for the delay in fixing the sofabed. At a Holiday Inn Express it is normal that drivers or front office staff are asked to work at the bar, in the roooms or at breakfast service in order to keep room rates low - staff is multitasking.

The staff who checked us in when we arrived were patronising and rude and did not listen when I said I had prepaid the room, so checked me in as if i was a new customer only to call me back from the lift to re-check me in as they had fond my pre paid booking. The laughed and sneered when another guest called down to say he could not make the lights in his room wok (key card operated)The room was grotty and in dire need of refurb. The walls paper thin and other guests had no respect allowing their children to run along the corridors and slam doors, nothing really I suppose the hotel can do about this? Check out in the morning was swift and the staff member on duty much friendlier. Breakfast was embarrassing..one tiny croissant each!!!! Shuttle service on time and convenient. Wont stay again there are other choices at Geneva.

This hotel has a free airport shuttle. It has a delicious free breakfast. It gave us free Metro/Bus transportation. I would highly recommend this hotel for the convenience of all these extras included. The rooms were small, but clean.
