even they are exprees hotel ,at least they should have special lounge or serice for the priority members,,,they also should upgrade the breakfast varayity , they need a room service or small resturant to serve lunch and dinner or even light meals,,,

Quality and price exceeded my expectations. Rooms were extremely comfortable and clean and the service, especially the airport shuttle, was excellent. I would definitely stay at this facility again.

Close to the airport the Holiday Inn Express is conveniently located for business visits to Geneva. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable and relatively quiet. Having stayed here twice I have had one good experience and one less good experience of the room wifi, I guess it may depend on exactly where your room is but the 2nd time it worked really well, solid connection and good speed.
Breakfast is adequate - OK for a couple of days business trip but I imagine a bit more variety would be welcomed if you were staying for longer.
There's a reasonably frequent shuttle service to and from the airport - and therefore the train station which is great, but worth finding out when the driver's meal breaks are as it can leave you waiting 40 mins at the airport - in which case grab a cab or cheekily take the Movenpick shuttle which is next door!

It rather easy to get to Town and places with the Tram. I enjoy the tram ride. There is big shopping Mall just 1-2 stop from the hotel, which has more of the shop there.
The hotel is quiet and I have a good rest in the queen bed with a choice of soft and normal pillow.

the room was stuffy air condition was on but did not work, a worker came to open the window - which didn't open very much & therefore was also insufficient
shower mix (hot & cold) wasn't working so either we were scalded by hot or remained cold
a very disappointing experience

The hotel is pretty much what I expected. The staff there at check inn made the stay less than what I wanted for our last day in Europe. The young man was a somewhat "know it all" giving just enough info to answer a question. The other staff member when asked how to get to the airport gave is really bad info on how to return the rental car. The staff the next day was good. Having a knowledgeable and friendly staff makes a big difference in the stay experience.

We had as you know booked 1 double and 1 triple room for our children. We arrived late, and exhausted after a long day and were rising to leave for the airport at 4:45am to catch our homeward flight, via London for Kenya. So a short night and a long day ahead, with sleep being a priority which is why we chose to stay as close to the airport as possible.
When we checked in to our rooms the triple bed was not made up - it was a closed sofa bed – we called your reception and before we could explain the problem he said he was busy and would call us back. After another 10 minutes he called us and I explained the problem that one bed was not made up. He said he would have to wait for the driver to come back from the airport as he was alone on the reception desk.
After another 20 minutes – the driver who had collected us from the airport came to our room and pulled down the sofa bed. He then had to go again and get sheets. By this time we had been in the room for over an hour and the children needed to get to sleep but one could not as they were yet to have a bed. I have to commend this individual – he was helpful and doing his best at multi tasking.
The sofa bed was not level and a very uncomfortable night was spent in the sofa bed – the sheets were placed on the bed and could not even be tucked in?
Secondly we were expecting to have a free transfer the following morning from the hotel to the airport – instead we were charged Ch 30 for this transfer together with another 6 or 7 people – which means that the hotel were charging over ch 300 for this 5 minute transfer

It seems like you did not enjoy your stay and I am sorry for the sofa bed that was not made upon arrival. These sofabeds are generally made for children up to 18 years and I apologize for the delay in fixing the sofabed. At a Holiday Inn Express it is normal that drivers or front office staff are asked to work at the bar, in the roooms or at breakfast service in order to keep room rates low - staff is multitasking.

The staff who checked us in when we arrived were patronising and rude and did not listen when I said I had prepaid the room, so checked me in as if i was a new customer only to call me back from the lift to re-check me in as they had fond my pre paid booking. The laughed and sneered when another guest called down to say he could not make the lights in his room wok (key card operated)The room was grotty and in dire need of refurb. The walls paper thin and other guests had no respect allowing their children to run along the corridors and slam doors, nothing really I suppose the hotel can do about this? Check out in the morning was swift and the staff member on duty much friendlier. Breakfast was embarrassing..one tiny croissant each!!!! Shuttle service on time and convenient. Wont stay again there are other choices at Geneva.

This hotel has a free airport shuttle. It has a delicious free breakfast. It gave us free Metro/Bus transportation. I would highly recommend this hotel for the convenience of all these extras included. The rooms were small, but clean.

We specifically stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Geneva Airport for its free airport shuttle and free breakfast. However, upon our arrival, we were informed that the free airport shuttle wasn't available during the time we needed to depart for the airport. The front desk agent told us that we could pay 15 Euro for a private shuttle that would take us to the airport. Had we known this, we would've paid an extra 15 Euro to stay in a hotel that provided airport shuttle service when we needed it.
The hotel also didn't provide the advertised free breakfast until after we departed. Instead, we were offered a single croissant... No thanks. The Holiday Inn Express Geneva Airport needs to live up to its name, and understand that they need to provide service for early morning flights.
On the bright side, we enjoyed the complimentary beers that were provided to Priority Club members upon our arrival.

The hotel is very convenient to the airport/train station with efficient shuttle service. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room, although small, was comfortable and quiet. The selection of breakfast items was the best I've encountered at any Holiday Inn Express, or similar hotel. Our experience was very pleasant, we definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is correct only for stay one night. The staff is pleasant. On the other hand, there is no restaurant and if you wish to eat you have the choice between a service of delivery of pizzas or kebabs ( poor service) or going to dinner to the restaurant of the close hotel: the Mövenpick!

For an airport hotel in Switzerland it was good value for money providing you did not want to do anything more than rest before the next flight.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Arriving around 7PM only one member of staff manning the front desk. After about 25 minutes checkin formalities were finished!!!
After unpacking and finishing some work which took about 30-40 minutes I needed some answers to local transport options for getting into central Geneva. At Reception there was still a queue of people waiting to check-in / out with yet again one member of staff on duty. Once again I joined the queue and after 15-20 mins reached the front of the queue, got the answers I needed.
The bar is adjacent to the Reception area and not having seen anybody serving I suspected the Reception staff also act as bar staff. Sure enough that is the way it works. The answer to getting a beer was blindingly obvious but I thought I would ask anyway, only to be told "I have all these people (indicating the queue behind me) to attend to and 2 phonecalls on hold and my colleague is on his break". The answer was clearly fact but in this day and age of competitive customer service is it acceptable to have people queueing for 15-25 minutes???
Would I stay there again, based on price yes because my Employer dictates what they will spend. After this I would consider topping up my Employers contribution and staying in a full service hotel.

Clean hotel with comfortable rooms - each room has their own heat/airconditioning controls which worked wonderfully. My only complaint was that the linen sheets and duvet covers were a bit scratchy. Shower and towels were great.

Frequency of the complimentary airport transfer was good. We didn't have to wait for more than 15 minutes.
Excellent location - Located close to the ICC and Coop supermarkets & restaurants. esp as this property does not have an in-house restaurant.
Staff service is good. They made an extra effort to give directions and assistance.
Premises were clean and well maintained..

Due to travel delays, I arrived for check-in very late, 12:30 a.m. Unbelievably, there was a line. Only one employee was present trying to deal with the line of 5 customers waiting to check-in as well as three drunk patrons sitting at the bar next to the check-in desk. I was the only woman in the lobby and was extremely uncomfortable with the entire situation. I waited almost 20 minutes to check-in. Despite the line of tired customers, the clerk was taking extra time to try to get people to sign up for the rewards program - very poor judgment. When it was my turn, he said my room number out loud, audible to the drunk bar patrons as well as to the men waiting behind me. I requested a room change and that he write it down only, not say it. My room was very small and although the bed appeared clean, the futon and carpet were stained and unpleasant looking. To top it all off my wake-up call was 15 minutes late. Fortunately, I expected this and had set my own alarm. I would not return, even despite the attractive price.

Although this hotel seemed a bit expensive (it is an airport hotel and in Switzerland, however!), everything about it was just what we needed. The staff were helpful and really friendly, the room was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. There was a free airport shuttle to/from the airport too which was nice. They also offer you a free public transport pass to go into central Geneva if you wish. The only thing I wasn't happy with was that there wasn't wifi in the room -- only broadband which you had to pay for. Otherwise everything was fine!

I would not come back to this hotel.
- Staff is not too friendly, somewhat defensive and snippy at times, with exception of management
- Rooms are clean, but small
- If you want Internet during your stay, go somewhere else. This was the worst experience I have ever had in any hotels I have ever stayed in. The slowest connection you can possibly think of, and it was on and off within minutes. I wanted to cry. I was staying there for 2 weeks and it was outrageous. They told me it was being fixed during my stay, but nothing ever changed. They said it was slow due to some guests downloading movies. Right. Because this is the first hotel in the world that faces this problem. I got my money back after arguing, but I would have preferred to have internet.
- I had my laundry out for two days, packed in the laundry bag and ready for pickup. No one ever picked it up.
- There is no restaurant attached, and not much close by.
- Breakfast was good.
- The entire experience reminded me more of a youth hostel instead of a business hotel. Everyone sitting in the lobby to have internet, since the internet doesn't work in your room. But no real restaurant to sit and everything feels totally cramped.
- Not recommended

I had a nice, comfortable stay, the room is perfectly ok, bed, tv, bath, climate..
What i think is generally a standard, but apparently didn't arrive here yet. is WiFi connection in the room (included!). The solution with the wire is ok, but 10 SFr.? really?
Another issue is the breakfast. The Coffee is no coffee!! its instant coffee, which you can make yourself, eventhough the machine looks a bit more professional. I think it's sad, if a Hotel can't afford to offer real coffee for breakfast!
And my last comment, Fruits out of a can? With those fares this shouldn't be the level.
The service was freindly, easy and competent.

The location of this hotel is very good, shuttle bus service is a value add. Highly recommend this hotel if you visit Geneva with a limit bugget. But the internet access is not good here. I hope they will improve it next time.

Stayed here for 1 night for an early flight the next morning. Hotel Shuttle Service from and to the Airport is extremely helpfull. Room was clean and comfortable. It was impossible to sleep well because the room temperature was extremely high. Reception staff could be friendlier.
