Blaarmeersen Park – A large recreation park with a lake, a beach, four playgrounds. Swimming for kids in summer or fall, and plenty of places to get snacks and food. It's also a fun expedition to get there, a 20 min. bus ride from the city center.
Gravensteen Castle – Visit a classic medieval castle, built in the 12th century, the castle of the Counts of Flanders. Having been restored, the castle is in great shape, with crenelated towers and turrets.
Playbeach (Gentbrugge) – Playbeach is an indoor playground with a three story climbing structure, ball pit, rope walks, bouncy castles, gym mats, separate baby and toddler play areas. Playbeach is great for a rainy day!
