One lift was out of order for both nights of our stay, the second lift worked for only a few hours before breaking down. Groupd of men who were drinking heavily and vefry noisy.

We have used this hotel on a number of occasions and yet again we found every aspect of the hotel, room, general amenities to be first class and the staff are as always extremely friendly, efficient and make us feel welcome at every visit. We always try to stay at Holiday Inn now on visiting Glasgow, as we are guaranteed a comfortable relaxed experience, from comfortable rooms to good breakfast, altogether better than some of the experiences we have had in Glasgow accommodation

The room was excellent. The evening meal we had was very good. We were able to relax. Staff very pleasant. We left our car and collecting it when we returned and stayed another night. This worked out very well. The short walk from the hotel to the airport was a bonus as well. All in all a good experience.

We stayed at this hotel on 17th/18th January and 1 of the 2 lifts was not working.
When we returned on 1st/2nd February it still was not working WHY??

everything was great.... except for the "wake up" function on the TV. If I had not already been awake there is no way the pathetic buzz would have woken me. Next time I'll ask them to phone the room instead. That is my only complaint. The room was nice and the breakfast more than acceptable.

always stay here when flying from Glasgow rooms are very clean and comfy lovely large beds with plenty of space only thing I would update is size of tv screen also some biscuits to have with your tea.
Staff are always helpful and pleasant meals are very good. We will be back soon.

Enjoyed a 2 night stay.
Greeted warmly be receptionist, who clearly explained the facilities of the hotel.
Room was warm, clean with the bathroom spotless.
Breakfast buffet offered a choice of hot and cold food, cereals and drinks.
On site parking was very convenient.
Checkout was fast and easy.

We chose to stay here overnight prior to an early morning departure from Glasgow airport.
When arrived at check in our party were offered an upgrade into a larger room which was great for us as we have a son who is disabled and had a wheelchair. The room was large enough for us and all our luggage.
Our only complaint was the price of drinks which we thought were expensive

Because they are within easy walking distance of the airport I usually stay at the Holiday Inn Express (or the nearby Holiday Inn) when I make a stopover at Glasgow Airport. The rooms are spacious, clean and bright, those in the dearer Holiday Inn slightly better equipped. HIE offers a breakfast buffet which is very good by UK standards. The staff are friendly and helpful. My only grumble is that they seem to have a chronic problem with the wireless internet.

We have stayed at this Hotel many times with our family , usually booking 2 rooms at a time , and in fact, stayed here for 4 days whilst visiting Glasgow in the Summer. It is always a very clean and comfortable place to stay. On this Occasion we stayed on the night before and night after our week Holiday in the Canaries. It was so good to stay here before & after a long flight with the family - we settled in our room , put our feet up and watched television - really felt that we had arrived home ! it was great comfortable and relaxing place to stay before heading home to the West Highlands.

We had booked this room for a relaxing weekend break before jetting off, And had requested not to be disturbed in the morning, However in the morning we were woken by some banging around in the hallway, and after a while we asked them to keep the noise down, but this fell on deaf ears and when the room opposite was being cleaned they decided to sing and shout ,
this was too much and i made a complaint to the duty manager to which she followed up with, but to my dismay, someone, I presume the chambermaid in question posted the DO NOT DISTURB sign back under the door............................
I am currently following the complaint through and needless to say we packed up and left that day without staying the night we had paid for,
So if your looking to have lie in and not be disturbed , Dont book this hotel.....

A very welcome stop after hold ups due to flooding. Staff very welcoming and accommodating. Helped arrange the parking of the car for the fortnight without any hassle. Made the whole start of our holiday very comfortable and welcoming.
So convenient for the airport. With the parking deal taking care of the car the short stroll to the airport on leaving made life easy. On return it was so quick once we picked up bags in airport a 5 minute stroll and we were in the car on our way home. Will definitely use again.

We stayed after a weeks holiday. Room was clean but pushed for space with a double bed, fold-down double for the kids and three suitcases. Was ok though. Breakfast choice was poor and not up to usual HIE standard. Staff in the morning for checkout failed to give information about leaving carpark which meant re-parking and running through the rain to ask how we were meant to be able to raise the car park barrier. Would not return.

We stayed one night before our flight to New York in the morning, great location and easy to get to, the staff were welcoming and informative as our say included car parking for 7 days and valet, food was slightly expensive but the service was fast and there was plenty of food we did have. Was easy enough to pick up our car on return, it made a fantastic start to our christmas holiday.

Hotel is ideal for our flights from the airport.
Airport is just a 3min walk under cover from hotel. Staff at hotel are very friendly and room prices including car parking are reasonable.

Ideally located with ease of access to airport. The only negative is, over £50 for a very basic meal, for 2 adults and 2 kids, which was basically processed microwave food, very bland and extremely poor quality. I would advise anyone using this hotel to eat before they arrive, or go across to the airport terminal, where you can find much cheaper, and better meal options, which sadly we found too late. Also, this is the only hotel we have ever stayed at that does not offer bacon for breakfast, very dissappointing, as the eggs were scambled mush, and the food was not very hot.
Fiona on reception was very pleasant indeed.

As a wheelchair user venturing on holiday on my own for the first time, I booked my hotel in plenty of time. Requested disabled access room and advised that I may need assistance on arrival.
I arrived at the Hotel on Christmas Eve, to be told that the lifts were not working and all disabled access rooms were on the first floor. As I couldn't manage the stairs I was allocated a room on the ground floor. The first problem was that I couldn't get the wheelchair past the bed. after moving the beds about, I was left in the room, without being able to access the kettle etc and struggling to reach the telephone. I then discovered that I couldn't use the bathroom as I couldn't get the wheelchair into it. When I called back to reception to let them know, I was advised that they would not mind carrying my bags upstairs for me, if I could manage the stairs. When I said this was not possible, I was told there was nothing else they could do but give me a full refund. I was given an e mail address , to contact the next time I was booking a room and they may be able to offer me a discount!!! Why on earth would I book again, after finding myself out on the street on Christmas Eve, looking for another hotel??

Our flight was leaving for Canada early in the morning, so we wanted to be close to the airport. This hotel solved that problem nicely, being a four-minute walk from the terminal. The room was comfortable, clean and relatively sound-proof. I liked being on a lower floor (there are only three levels), and I liked being able to walk up the stairs to our room. The bathroom was sparkling, and the shower hot. Who could ask for more? Check-in was effortless and quick. The staff were friendly. I had a banana with my muesli and a glass of milk for breakfast, which suited me fine. We booked a few weeks ahead, which meant that the price of the room was no more than an inexpensive bed-and-breakfast. We spent the day walking in Glasgow, so we were content to have supper in the hotel. I had halibut-and-chips, which turned out to be pretty good (if not good for me). Would I stay here again? Absolutely.

Stayed for two nights ,one before holiday and one on return, first night my husband daughter and granddaughter arrived for the night before our early morning flight,we decided to enjoy a relaxing evening meal after having driven for three hours,meal was ordered and after about twenty minutes food arrived for three of our party and the waiter said the other meal was on its way. Twenty further minutes later I went to reception desk to ask if there was a problem with the other meal and was told only three meals had been ordered,no reason was given and I had to reorder the meal which arrived another twenty minutes later , No appology was given from staff infact I would go as far as to say they didnt care. On return from holiday we again stayed at the inn as we had prebooked and found the two rooms were very col and draughty to the point where my daughter had to give her quilt to my four year old grandchild to keep her warm enough to sleep,I informed staff at reception desk of this problem and was told weather was very cold,end of story NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL.

Never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express before, but I can honestly say that I would recommend them to friends and family. Did not know what to expect, but for the price charged it was exceptional value. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and had everything a traveller needed, and the breakfast provided plenty of choice, freshly replenished all the time. Could not believe how at home I felt. Many thanks

We spent a pleasant night there. Dinner was good as was breakfast. A very relaxing stay after a very long flight. Everything worked well, crisp linens and ample towels. We would stay there again. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and friendly as were the staff on the front desk

!) When checking in we were not advised that a 10% voucher was inserted in our room key wallet for use in the dining room. I thoght it was a spare room key and only discovered it was a voucher when we returned to our room after dinner.
2)The clerk who took our order at the bar did not ask if we had a voucher before paying for our meal..
3) When checking out we explained that we had only discovered the voucher. We have never received one before and I assumed it may be as a result of our recent upgrading to Gold Status. The check-out clerk advised he could not give us credit for the voucher now as it should have been produced at the time. Very disappointing if this is what 'Gold Status' customers can expect!
PS We have just returned from holidaying in the USA where ioyalty/ discount vouchers were handed out like sweeties with every purchase
