Local restaurant adjoining hotel car park with good food and choice of drinks. Hotel breakfast simple, basic, and adequate. Value for money overall price. May 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wot no muesli? We like Holiday Inns, and the Gloucester Express is well up to standard. The bed was comfortable, the room warm, the dog welcome and the bathroom soooooooooooo clean! My only gripe is that there was no muesli at breakfast and when I asked I was told they don't offer muesli. Come on HIE, everybody but everybody offers muesli for breakfast! Apart from that it was excellent and very good value. (But no muesli. I can't believe that in this day and age a hotel does not offer muesli. Really, can you believe it? Honestly, no muesli.............) May 11, 2013

We were very impressed with the standard of room and good value. We were traveling with our dog and were allocated a convenient room by very helpful staff. We thought the inclusive breakfast a very welcome bonus. May 9, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, comfortable and quiet Room very good although I thought providing 2 tea bags a bit mean. (I did get more from the dining area) Very friendly and pleasant staff. Only complaint was breakfast - no bacon ! Otherwise good range of food with good quality muesli and orange juice. As you are near the relatives I visit, I will be staying again ! May 6, 2013
