Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Poor breakfast service. Food ran out and was not replenished without a long wait. This is the second time on two consecutive visits, nothing has improved in this particular area. Cost to room a dog overnight has risen from £10 to £30. The room for two people to stay overnight cost less. Not acceptable. Sorry I have stayed in this hotel regularly over the past eight years but I am of the opinion that overall service and value are in decline. December 22, 2014

The room was it's normal good quality but found the cold water was coming out warm even when I left it running a while. Overall service was excellent as usual. My main problem was that my colleague and myself settled down with a drink in the bar ready to watch the Cahmpions League on Sky but - No Sky!! This was very disappointing and may deter me from staying in the future. Shame as I will be staying in Gloucester quite a lot as I work there on occassions and have family in the area. Despite a quiet notice on our door we were woken by noisy cleaners, laughing, talking and vacuuming. December 18, 2014
