Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gonzales Stay I was a very enjoyable stay. This was extremely nice motel and I appreciated the time spent there. The staff all treated me as an old friend not just a person there for a brief time. Everyone interacted as though I was and old acquaintance not just a short term guest. I would welcome the chance to travel to Gonzales, Texas again where the opportunity presents itself. A bid thumb's up for the staff. January 28, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Christmas Trip Property is in excellent shape and very clean. Did not interact much with the staff but what little I did was satisfactory. The lady at breakfast was very nice. Exercise equipment was working properly. I thought the room price was high compared to other HIE properties I have stayed at. Not the hotel fault, but there was no cell service inside the building. Over all a good choice in a small town. Located close to all the things you might go see. January 1, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No attention to details This is the worst Holiday Inn Express I have stayed at thus far. The Gonzales Holiday Inn Express is located in the heart of the Eagle Ford Shale, so the hotel has been booked with many workers needing rooms. People have been filling the hotel not because they WANT to stay in this hotel, there has not been many choices. Recently I stayed there for 15 days. The first day I found more than a dozen expired milks in the refrigerator in the breakfast area. I notified the front desk. I did this for 5 days in a row taking expired milk to the front desk. Will someone please explain to me WHY I would need to remind the front desk of spoiled milk 5 days in a row? On the milk I can see an expiration date, but not on gravy, eggs or other breakfast items. I suspect they are recycled, too. I sent a note to complain and was told the hotel manager would contact me. I was there for 15 days and no attempt was made to contact me. Very poor management practices. December 22, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by The property gouges public because it can I love the Holiday Inn Express chain and stay at their hotels when possible. In Gonzales, due to the number of oil field crews that need housing this property has jacked up the rates while reducing the quality provided. We have decided, as a family that we will not be back. We had 4 rooms for 2 days on this occasion but I doubt we will be missed. By the way, the lady that handled the breakfast area was wonderful. She was friendly, engaging and attentive.
