Stayed here for the night on a business trip. The staff is a 5 star staff who did everything possible to make my stay excellent. The room was spacious and clean. Would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay on I-70.

As a Platinum member and a person who has been staying at Holiday Inns for almost 30 years, this hotel ranked as one of the best.
Very accomedating hostess at the front desk . She helped me get the room that I requested.
Very quiet hotel in a lovely community.

This is as good as it geets for interstate travel accommodations. There ae less expensive, but sometimes you just need to check in and unwind.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by m1963 A good 1 night stay.
Everything went well. I had 1 little trouble, had trouble getting on the wireless internet and staying on. The next night a couple hundred miles down the road, I didn't have any trouble. Not sure why.

I am a devoted Holiday Inn customer and the Goodland facility was as good or better than most. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area as well as what to expect of the weather that lay ahead of us the next morning. I did not rate the breakfast as excellent but it was good and it was hot and we had all we wanted. If my travels take me that way again I will most likely book a room there again. It wasn't a very nice night with the weather and all but this location was like an oasis in the desert for weary travelers.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Loved the stay but there's one thing REALLY bothered me
We had to stay during the Winter Storm Q on the way back from CO. The room and everything else was excellent as other Holiday Inn Express, but there was one major thing really bothered me. I hope it's not a hotel stuff but we had smoking smell coming from the air conditioner unit time to time during the stay. We called the front desk, and the clerk told us that she found out that someone had been smoking in the premises and used the freshener to erase the smell. Apparently someone was smoking very close to the vent that was connected to our room as we also smelled the freshener before the clerk called us back to let us know. I thought that was one incident but it continued throughout the night. I have asthma, and that was VERY disturbing. Didn't complain as we could not tell if it was the hotel stuff or the guest at the hotel, but really hated the incident.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Junebug13 Plenty of room and fun in the pool
We had two adults and 3 teenagers. We had to go back to the front desk and ask for two more towels. There were only 3 in the room. The front desk was very helpful. They agreed to put our ice packs from our cooler in their freezer so they would be ready for travel the next day. The room was large enough for all of us. The extra living area with sink was very helpful. The pool and hot tub were great. We enjoyed the heat registers in the walls instead of a noisy unit under the window.

In the spirit of "going green" and conserving electricity, your hotel rooms are too dark. I would like more light in the bathroom and at least one strong light in the main room!
