In exercise room, neither treadmill nor elliptical worked.
In bathroom, low water pressure -- shower dribbles, toilet struggles to empty properly.
In bedroom: Even though I turned the fan to low (not "auto") setting, it never came on. I've learned to travel with a small fan to compensate for this -- also helps drown out the noise from the hall/next room.
The breakfast is obviously from microwave packets. I take my own oatmeal... they do provide in room microwave and refrigerator.
Unfortunately, Goodland doesn't have a lot of options and this is the newest hotel.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. Star with the front desk staff help me send two FEDEX overnights when needed. The front desk staff also held documents for me when dropped off by clients. I was very pleased with my stay.

We found that we had left a medical supply behind and called the hotel to ask if they had found it. They did and held it for us until we returned a few weeks later. We were very pleased and want to thank them for holding it for so long for us.

I was driving for 13 hours before I arrived at this hotel just before midnight. I appreciated the free snack for platinum members as I was hungry. The hotel was nice looking, clean, and the breakfast was well stocked. Would stay here again for sure if I was in the area.

They failed to clean the room and were told and said they would have it taken care of. When we returned later that day nothing had been done.
We spoke again to the front desk and they brought clean towels,but did nothing with the bed.We were lucky we had a queen room with a second bed to use.The manager said when asked there was only the supervisor for the maid service there.Does the supervisor not know
how to provide the maid service?
They reduced the cost by $25.00
They still did not do anything for the second night as taking care of the room you would expect.

My room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the TV was very nice. Only possible issue would be that the air conditioner was not functioning properly, and would only keep temperatures at tolerable levels.....not the cooler temps I prefer to sleep in.
The hotel looked really new, and the lobby was clean. Easily the nicest looking hotel in the area, and I will be staying here on my next business trip through Kansas.

We always enjoy staying at HIE. We know what to expect and get good value. We use HIE regularly when we are traveling across the country to vacation destinations. However, some HIEs have very poor sound-proofing. You hear the people above you walking across the floor. This was one of those HIEs. Fortunately, the people above us went to bed and got up about the same times we did.
Other than that, it was a great stay. The staff was great, everything was very clean, the food was well-stocked.
A comment though: the IHG Rewards gift was ONE bottle of water and ONE fun-sized snickers bar?!? Really? Doesn't make me feel very appreciated.
