Stayed here for two nights on a business trip in Nashville and surround areas. Check-in was quick and easy. My room was very large, one of the biggest I have been in for an IHG property. Everything was clean and in order. HVAC, one of the things that give your first indication of how your hotel stay is going to go, worked perfectly. Had a bit of trouble getting logged into the WiFi system, but probably more because of may ancient laptop rather than the inhouse WiFi. A visit to the front desk attendant and his call to tech support and we got tht all squared away. Breakfast area was all good, the usual Holiday Inn Express fare, nothing special, but it was what you expect. Used the fitness center and all the equipment seemed to work fine. Property location very convenient to downtown Nashville and the 'burbs.
Downside...my room was directly across from the elevator on the 2nd floor. Was not an issue as far as noise, but I could not help but notice the floor seemed to shake every few seconds. I can't say that it was connected with movement of the elevator, but it was curious. In typical construction for a hotel like this, the elevator core is a freestanding structure that is not really tied structurally to the walls and floors of the building, so the shaking did not make much sense. At any rate, it was not bothersome at all and detracted not from my stay.
I plan to make some more business trips to Nashville and would most likely choose this location for my lodging.

Got into town late after driving most of the day....Lady at the front desk said she appreciated our Priority Club membership. We were tired and wanted only to catch the Duke basketball game and hit the sack. Too tired to drive to dinner. She had a pizza place recommendation AND coupons for in room delivery. Couldn't have asked for more!

If you choose to stay at this hotel, be sure to ask for the top floor! There's no sound-proofing between floors so every movement in the room above can be heard clearly....especially in the middle of the night.

Stay was quite comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The check-in was very easy and the clerk was quite friendly.

Our stay was enjoyable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel was very convienent to everything we had planned to do while staying in Nashville. The room was very clean, and quiet. Parking and access to the hotel was easy. We will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

The young lady that checked me in was great BUT
Too many phone calls kept her busy. Am I to assume they do not have voice mail to handle the calls.
If I get there before the next phone call I should have priority (no pun intended) for check-in.
Maybe I should check in at the lobby using my cell phone.
At least I had time to go to the bathroom.
ps.
It has happened at other hotels also.

Not greeted well, staff was not at desk. Room was not up to any standard, microwave and fridge did not work. Hallway was thick with smoke on a supposed non somoking room area.

The night I spent there the elevator had problems. Apparently in order to repair an elevator the service people must set off an alarm several times. So between 11PM and 2AM I was jarred awake by the alarm at least 4 times. I never really relaxed after the second time, waiting as I was for the next sound of the klaxon.

We stayed at HI Express's most of the time. This was the first at Goodlettsville. The evening staff were great. Both ladies at the front desk were as "sweet as they could be".
The breakfast was the standard HI Express menu BUT just a little different. Whatever Goodlettsville is doing, HI Corporate should take notice.
Room was clean and very neat. Looks to have just been updated recently.
We will stay here again whenever we are in the Nashville area

The staff was fantastic, very helpful and friendly. I liked the concept of the Honor Snack Bar. The gym was decent, what you'd expect at a hotel, enough to keep your basic routine in tact. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The location is great, near the interstate. It is surrounded by restaurants and is nearby a Kroger grocery store and near petrol centres.

THE STAFF ARE OUTSTANDING. MADE STAY SO RELAXING AND COMFORTABLE. ALL WERE VERY HELPFUL AND JUST A PLEASANT PLACE TO STAY. BREAKFASTT WAS GOOD. THE FRIENDLINESS IS OUTSTANDING FROM EVERY ONE THAT WORKS THERE. NEVER CAME ACROSS ONE UNHAPPY OR UNFRIENDLY PERSON.. WAS SO NICE TO ENCOUNTER ALL THE FRIENDLINESS.

We stay at Holiday, Goodlettsville, coming from Indiana to FL and back north in the spring. We very much appreciate the cleanliness of the motel and our room. We did have some noisy neighbors above us but the office took care of it. I wish guests would be more considerate of others, not making noise or disturbances. We are travellors wanting a good nights rest. I do not blame Holiday, altho I wish they would mention to their guests as they register to be considerate of others.
I would highly recommend Holiday in Goodlettsville.

Although I had made a reservation many weeks in advance and was redeeming Priority Points at this location for my two day stay, I was unable to get keys to a room until almost 5 PM...waited well over two hours for a room to be available!!
I did notice keys to other rooms were given out to others during my wait.
I even called the HI Priority Club Customer Service number while I was waiting. A call from them to this hotel suddenly seemed to quickly resolve my issue.
No valid reason was offered by the hotel staff for my delay.
After traveling all day, I needed to freshen up for a dinner meeting I had to attend that evening and needed access to a room.

My employer negotiated a good rate at this hotel, so I booked my 10 night stay. I had various issues during my stay that made me not really like the place, but the worst was when I logged into my account and found that they gave me ZERO priority club points for my 10 night stay. NEVER AGAIN!!! Totally dissatisfied customer now...
