Everything seemed nice and clean, the way it should be. I liked getting a rice krispy treat when I checked in. The breakfast bar was a bit disappointing, but I was glad that they had a breakfast bar at all.

Was told there were no double queen options when booking, so booked a king suite for $20 extra per night instead. When we got there, they had the double queen, but without the price adjustment. Pool light is on a motion sensor that does not sense at pool level, so the light turns off every 10 minutes. When we complained, they said they had been giving this feedback to management for months. We stayed in our room late one morning and the room was not cleaned at all. They had apples in the lobby and when we took one, the core was rotten.
This is already at the top of the price chain for the area and I would expect it to be top notch; the hotel is nice, but the experience was motel like.

This is the fourth time that we have stayed at this Hotel.
The staff and management have made it most enjoyable -
friendly folk who go out of their way to accommodate us.
We travel as a large group of classic car owners and attend
the famous Back to the Bricks show in Flint for these four days.
Saturday morning the lady who provides breakfast arranges to be there for 5:00 a.m. as some of our car owners have to be at
their site location by 6:00 a.m.
Above and beyond the call of duty.
We will continue to come to Grand Blanc.

My stay was great the staff very nice the room clean & comfortable and the location is nice & close to pine knob. Over all everything was very good. HIG or who ever needs to come with something NEW for the breakfast its the same old same old

We recently stayed 3 nights at the Holiday Inn Express in Grand Blanc. Staff were very helpful and friendly. A staff member opened the pool and exercise room early when we asked to use them one morning. The people cleaning the rooms asked when it would be convenient to clean our room. The staff offered cookies, etc. to our grandchildren. Most importantly, the desk staff offered to mail a charging cord we left in the room to our home address. Our trip was a success since we had an enjoyable stay.

Nice, new property with reasonable rates. Especially appreciated the thoughtfulness of the bathroom design. The nice wide countertop provided enough space for our personal bathroom items. The 2 different lightng options were nice for applying make-up, shaving or a midnight bathroom visit. It was roomy enough, so we weren't knocking elbows on the door or walls when drying off after a shower.

The staff was excellent! I had a wedding in the area and they gave me early check in and had the shuttle waiting for me! The whole staff was very friendly! I had a wonderful stay! I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn! Thank you so much to the staff for the wonderful experience!

I do not have one negative comment about this hotel. From checking in to checking out, all requests and inquiries were handled in a courteous and quick response. We did not even have to worry about drinking and driving from a family wedding we were attending, the free shuttle took care of that.....and the driver Mary was both a friendly and sociable person.

Booked into room 315. Wedding party on most of 2nd floor. Loud party located in room 215 just below both nights of stay. 1st night contacted desk around 12:30 am and things quited down around 1:00 am. 2nd night loud music, singing, at least 20 people in room 215 having a drunken party. Contacted front desk again but party did not subside. Went to front desk and staff stated they went to the room and had the door slammed in their face. I stated that I was going to call police and the person at the desk stated that he would take care of it and proceeded to call. At 2:30 am the party was still going strong with loud music and singing. The police never came and were not contacted again even though staff was aware that the party was still going on and could hear it clearly from the parking lot. I only saw 1 person working the night shift at the hotel. There needs to be more support for security and local police need to be responsive. I will never stay there again! I was so exhaused I could hardly drive home the next day, had to stop for a nap to keep from falling asleep at the wheel!

Long time no motel stays but was really pleased to get the last available room ( lots going on in town). The front desk was helpful when asked any questions. Great that a pool and exercise room was available. The breakfast was better than expected. If a need arises to stay at a motel in the future, the Holiday Inn Express will be my first choice.

We were very pleased with the service and the friendliness of the entire staff. The rooms were very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The location for us was good., close to the expressway which made it easy off and on. The breakfast was good with several items to choose from.

I went to this location on a business trip having never been to Michigan before. They were very helpful in making me feel comfortable and relaxed in the new environment. Mary, the shuttle driver, picked me up from the airport and even helped me find places to eat around the area. She was very helpful and I greatly appreciated her help. The room was very nice and clean. A nice place to just relax. If I get the chance to fly back into Michigan I will definitely go here again.

The hotel was nice enough, but it is definitely overpriced. The first room I was assigned had a very strong burnt spell and the indoor pool is way to cold to actually enjoy.

Since my last stay at this location, things have changed. The last time I stayed the the people at the fron tdesk were very friendly. This time, the person at the front desk acted like he was doing me a favor rather than treating with as a customer. I checked in Wednesday evening Feb. 20th, so don't know the name of the gentleman on duty.
Also, when are you going to get rid of the styrofoam (misp) plates!!!!!!! They are terrible in many ways. They also melt when you put toast on them. I hope you consider changing to paper plates!

I stayed in regular room from 1/15 thru 1/17, while brother in Geneys Hospital. Room was great, front desk employees and breakfast room employees phenomenal, no complaints. However, moved to Family Suite on Friday 1/18 till 1/20 when sister and Mom arrived from IN. Our room was not cleaned on 1/19. We didn't leave the room till about 11:30 a.m. and returned at 7:30 p.m.. Did not leave "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. Cleaning cart was in the hallway when we left in the morning. Not really a big deal. Front desk staff gave us clean towels. However, brother passed away on 1/26 and we returned on 2/1 for his funeral and again stayed in Family Suite. Again, room was not cleaned on Saturday, 2/2. Definitely made sure DND sign not on outside and cleaning cart was in hallway again when we left at 11:00 a.m. We were rushed in the breakfast room both days (Sat. and Sun). We arrived at 9:30 a.m. and a lot of the items needed refilling. We had to hunt down the young girl working and she gave us an attitude about our request. A Mom came in around 9:40 with six small children and it took here quite awile to get all of them breakfast. The employee really was quite rude to her when she asked for items that were empty. You see a big difference between the week day employees and the weekend employees. As my brother and Father are now buried at Great Lakes National Cemetery and we all live out of state, this hotel is very convenient to staying at when we visit the cemetery several times a year. Management should take note of the inconsistencies. I will still choose Holiday Inn Express as it is a great value and ususally quality stay.

Stayed in king Jacuzzi room and the standard king room..rooms were very nice and well set up...had a great weekend , pool was nice, breakfast was above expected..only downside was the beds were uncomfortable and couldn't sleep the last night more then 2 hours from back pain. Overall stay was great and I would go back if there was a different choice of beds.

THe hotel told us on check in that breakfast was from 6:00am to 11:00 am as it was a holiday. Breakfast was not served until 7:00am and ended at 10:00am. The hotel is wooden and extremely noisy. In the room on the door was a sign stating checkout was 12:00noon. I left the hotel at 9:00am and told the desk clerk that I would be right back and gave her my room number so no one would clean it . I returned at 10:00am and my room keys didn't work. the desk clerk said someone else had said they were in my room number so she had checked them out. I was given new keys and thank goodness my clothes were still there. I had to ask for a copy of my bill and had to wati as the room had already been checked out. since I had prepaid in full someone got off free. The breakfast was luke warm . I was never recognized as a priority club member . The room had no kleenex or note paper.

Whenever we visit family in the area, our first choice for overnight accommodations is Holiday Inn Express in Grand Blanc. We appreciate the helpful and pleasant service of staff and cleanliness of the facilities, plus the hot breakfast in the morning. My husband is allergic to strong smelling deodorizers and cleaning agents and we never have to worry---there are no strong fragrances in our room. Britney (??) greeted us at the desk when we arrived after our long day, and we appreciated her warm welcome and our room upgrade. Thanks, Holiday Inn Express....we appreciate you.
