Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not kid friendly This location will not let kids into there suits. There larger rooms are in a separate building that's adults only. Being a 14 year HIG rewards member never have had this happen. If you have kids I wouldn't stay here. November 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good choice, except for breakfast CROUDS Good choice when visiting the Grand Canyon. Very friendly and helpful staff. One minor complaint: noisy rooms, not from exterior, but from people talking loud and children running and shouting in hallways. One major complaint: mob scene in breakfast room. Too small a room, too few tables, too many guests — people eating in the lobby; people sitting on the floor. Had no choice but to take food to the room. November 28, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place to Stay Excellent staff and service, loved our stay at the Holiday Inn Express during our recent trip to Grand Canyon. Staff was very friendly and rooms were well maintained. The hotel was within walking distance of the local restaurants. The hot breakfast in the morning with a wide range of choices is definitely a big plus. November 23, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel.... When we booked in we asked front desk staff where the best place to dine was. They sent us to the Yippy iai aye (sp) steak house. It was horrible, the meal was bad and when we mentioned that the chicken didn't even resemble chicken and couldn't be eaten the reply was "Oh why cause it doesn't have feathers" The poor quality of the food was only surpassed by the poorer quality of the waiters. no wonder they have a 15% gratuity stuck on every bill. When we told the front desk staff of our experience they shrugged the shoulders and said ya we've heard the service is bad...... and that we weren't the only ones who have complained. Then why send us there????? Kids were in the adult only spa pool so we didn't use it. November 22, 2015
