Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Pricey Great breakfast Next time at Grand canyon I'll stay on site for the same cost May 19, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Don't Stay Here! The wireless internet was never available, and when my wife asked about the internet so that she could access her email to complete some work requirements, the staff suggested she awaken at 1 am when no one was using the internet. Unbelievable and we were there in two rooms (me, my wife, my son, my stepson, and my stepdaughter - all adults), and we were never able to access the internet. May 18, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy Guests Our stay at the Holiday Inn would have been much better had the guests around us been more respectful to their neighbors. The hotel was comfortable, but it is not soundproofed well at all. Also, the fan would not stay on at night to drown out noisy neighbors. People had their kids running up and down the hall early in the morning without paying any attention to the people around them. My parents never would have let me behaved that way at a hotel when I was a child. The breakfast was mediocre. The hotel was not cheap, but the proximity to the Grand Canyon made it very convenient. We would maybe be back, but definitely request a room at the end of the hall. We were almost at the end...but that didn't stop us from having loud people on both sides. May 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great management who accomodate individual needs the facility was modern, and management met all expectations despite the fact the facility was completely sold out. The breakfast bar was kept full and operating the next morning when it was overrun by guests of the facility. Room was extremely clean and temperature was maintained throughout the night. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel The Holiday Inn Express & Suites at the Grand Canyon is a nice hotel with comfortable beds, clean rooms and a nice continental breakfast. The location to the South rim of the Grand Canyon is excellent. Our overall stay for the Grand Canyon Half Marathon weekend was an enjoyable one and I would stay there again. May 13, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Value for the Cost This hotel is extremely overpriced only because it is one of the few hotels available near, but not on, the Grand Canyon. The rooms have poor noise control and the wireless internet is awful. May 12, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location for Grand Canyon South Rim visit The Tusayan location is excellent for a base of operations for a Grand Canyon visit to the South Rim—only a few minutes to the park entrance. There is a variety of shopping and restaurant choices within walking distance of the hotel. This location is an easy drive (4 hours) from Las Vegas - and about 3 hours from Phoenix. The property is what you would expect in this chain. The room rates seem high, but understandable for the venue. Based on the other choices in the area, including the lodges within the park, I recommend this as one of the best places to stay while visiting the South Rim. Be sure to spend a day visiting Sedona, AZ, too! May 11, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place to relax free breakfast and parking, good location to grand canyon, friendly staff, but poor internet connection May 10, 2015
