Great overnight experience, except for the poor quality of the internet service, which we understand was not the fault of the hotel.

As stated the staff was great and went out of their way to assist us with car problems and finding a mechanic.
I believe his name was Michael.

We visited the Grand Canyon for sun-up and returned to the hotel a few minutes after breakfast had ended. The 2 staff persons on duty were cleaning up so we felt perhaps we could have some coffee, but hey insisted we relax and have some food that was still out. They engaged us in conversation and were extremely friendly. Coming from the east coast a similar situation would result in a quick, unfriendly "get lost" from staff. It was a great teaching moment for our child.

For the value this is a great hotel except for the beds. they are plump and soft, not supportive. We chose this hotel for the indoor heated pool. The pool, room, breakfast (pancakes, not waffles) and ambience are wonderful. Just don't expect a supportive bed, at least we did not have one on our third floor two queen bed room.

All was corret. hotel and rooms clean. Very good for one/two nights stay. However big minus for internet access. It simply does not work. It is so slow it makes it unusable.

After driving for over five hours my husbands back was hurting badly. All he wanted was to get a good nights rest before having to spend the day walking around the Grand Canyon (not his idea of fun but he is a good husband). We had to call for a late check in and didn't get there until 10:00 at night. The front desk lady was so friendly and got our room quickly. The room was clean and the beds were VERY comfortable. My husband and son soon fell sound asleep. My husband commented in the morning what a good nights sleep he had. Breakfast had something for everyone and fueled us up for a day at the south rim. The drive to the rim was quick. We would definitely stay here again! Great hotel for a very reasonable price during the off season.
