The staff was excellent, they were attentive to everything I needed (sometimes I can be particular). The location was great, very close to shopping and restaurants as well as at the intersection of many popular streets. February 26, 2014

Good location near restaurants and shopping, as well as right near the interstate for off and on access. Would recommend this hotel to friends/family and all travelers staying in the area. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Location My husband and I stayed overnight to do some shopping in Grand Forks. This hotel is right off 1-29 located right in the main shopping area of the city and there are even a couple of restaurants within quick walking distance. The staff was friendly and offered us snacks for being IHG Rewards Club members. Our room was very nice looking and everything looked clean except for one somewhat disturbing issue -- a small blood stain on the side of the mattress protector. The sheets on our bed seemed too tight and rode up a little on the bed, revealing the sides of the mattress, which was covered with a zipper case. The stain was on the side, not the sleeping surface, and was rather small. Still, that's not something you want to see in a hotel room. The only other problem was the wifi was not great. It kept cutting in and out and took forever to connect sometimes. However, the TV was great. The channels were actually in HD, unlike most hotels. Something else I'd like to note is that we were on the 4th floor and our room had a nice big window with a good view. However, it had a sign warning that the windows opened fully (no screen). I tried to open the window out of curiosity, but I could not. It might just have been frozen shut. If you have curious kids old enough to open a window you might want to request the ground floor. Overall, the good outweighed the bad and I would stay here again. December 31, 2013
