Front desk staff was not up to IHG standard protocol...a customers quality of stay begins with the front desk staff.

The hotel is in a really good location, close proximity to shopping, cinemas, Starbucks etc. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and the free breakfast was more than sufficient. Would stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location for dining, shopping and touring. It is clean with easy accessibility The breakfast dining room was clean with a good variety of food. The coffee was delicious every single day and they provide skim milk which is a major plus in my opinion. The rooms are spacey and easy to relax in even when traveling with the family.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Not exactly what I had asked for but it was a nice ,comfy room.
When I called to reserve this room I specifically asked" does any of your suites have a spa/jacuzzi tub in it?" I was told yes mam and a price and reserved a room. When we arrived it did not have a spa/jacuzzi tub and when I called down stairs to ask about this ,I was told "ummm no, none of our rooms have that and I don't know who would have told you that". I explained that I booked this room specifically because I was told it had the amenity I asked for. The Manager told me " No,I don't know what to tell you other than I can cancel your reservation ".

We checked in around 8:30 PM, went to dinner, then went to our room about 10 PM to discover that the room temperature was over 85 degrees, even with the A/C set to 63. When we went to complain, we were informed that there were no more rooms available. When we wanted help finding another hotel, that required a manager, but the manager was at home; the hotel clerk refused to contact him. After about a half hour of us trying to figure out what to do, to find another hotel, demanding to talk to the manager, the clerk found a room with a functional A/C but a broken TV. We took that room.
That was in September after staying in about 18 nights at IHG hotels in 2014; we have not stayed at a IHG hotel since. I complained to IHG in October and I essentially got a form e-letter about IHG notifying the hotel - we received NO apologies from the hotel, NO monetary compensation, NO communications by the hotel manager. The manager's quality time with his family trumped a problem at his hotel.

we stay at holiday inn Express whenever we go to grand junction. we have tried other hotels but we love the location and quality of this holiday inn.
