Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by spring break get-away The accommodations seemed a bit overpriced compared to similar rooms. The staff seemed harried and not terribly well trained, perhaps new to their jobs? One of our three rooms was not ready at the promised time. There was not sufficient space in the breakfast room for the guests, a conference room down the hall was offered. The drawing point for our family was the two story water slide, which has been replaced by a not very exciting splash pad. April 15, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by excellent hotel for children This Holiday Inn Express has excellent staff and accommodations and the pool area is very good for small children with the splash area. However, if you are traveling without children the hotel noise level can be a little distracting because of all the families with small children and the breakfast area can be very crowded. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean comfortable rooms The room was very clean and the beds adequately comfortable. The pillows were the nicest hotel pillows I have seen! I often take my own and forgot to this trip, but there was no need! The only challenge we met with was the pack and play provided for our grandson. It was not very comfortable for him, but we made adjustments and made it work. The pool area is perfect for young children! April 13, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Check in time We checked in at 4:00 pm on Tuesday April 7 and our room was not ready. We were given a key to go to the pool while we waited but we did not utilize it because the pool was closed at the time, so we went to a nearby restaurant and had an early dinner while we waited. We did not receive a call until 5:30 pm that our room was ready. Breakfast the next morning was very crowded. My daughters waited in line for pancakes for 10 mins. By the time they got to the machine it needed to be reloaded, which took a few more mins. What bothered me the most was that by the time they got their pancakes, the staff was clearing the rest of the buffet because breakfast was almost over. We had to ask for syrup because it had been taken away. April 13, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by not a pleasant check in Showed up @ 4:05pm for our 4pm check in was told that the rooms are not ready !! Lots of other family's experiencing the same problem. the lobby was full children everywhere, was told they had a busy night before and unable to get rooms ready in time. I have a daughter who is vent dependent and needed to have her vent plugged in right away we were told to find a outlet in an already full lobby. When we asked how long the wait we were told that they are not sure and could not give a time ,almost an hour later we finally had a room ugh!! Stressful when all we came to do was relax April 12, 2015
