Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by What happened? My family has stayed at this property for several years when we come into town for our annual family reunion. We have always been warmly greeted and had no issues. This time I was there for a week for work. I was given a lukewarm welcome when I checked in at 5:30 p.m. I got to my room and my door was propped open and trash sitting in front of my door. The next morning my door would not latch when I was leaving for work. I had to leave my property in a room that was not secured. I reported the problem to the front desk person who responded with I'll let housekeeping know. Luckily, the morning shuttle driver (Heather), said she would fix the door as soon as she dropped us off. I had requested an airport pickup for 4 p.m. even though we were done at 3:30 because the shuttle does not run from 12-4. I called at 2:30 to remind them and Katelynn, the assistant manager said it was all set. I called again at 4:10 when the shuttle did not show up and Katelynn said it should be there any minute. REPEATED this conversation at 4:15, 4:20, and 4:30. FInally, the B e s t W e s t e r n shuttle picked myself and my supervisor up at 4:38. I asked him when he found out he was suppose to pick us up and he said Holiday Inn Express called him 5 minutes ago. When we returned to the hotel, I expressed to Katelynn that as a Platinum Elite member, I expect certain things: respect, honesty, and picked up when requested. Katelynn was rude every time we encountered her. On Tuesday, Heather dropped us off and said she would personally make sure we had a shuttle at 3:30 and we did! The shuttle drama from Monday repeated on Wednesday afternoon. I drove and paid the parking fees on Thursday because I was fed up. How on earth is Katelynn an assistant manager? She lacks people skills, integrity, and positive attitude. Heather is an exceptional employee and deserves a raise. She was the only reason I rated staff as a three and not zero. We will not be returning to this property for our annual family reunion. I am sure other IHG properties will value our loyalty and treat us with respect. February 18, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Less than average This was our second Holiday Inn stay in two nights. We were nicely greeted and quickly checked in. The cleanliness of the room was barely average and some repairs were needed. The molding was coming off in the bathroom and the shower rod was close to falling off the wall, resulting in a shower curtain that wouldn't stay closed. The heat ran all night and was very noisy. Finally, the biggest complaint was that the WiFi did not work well at all. None of our devices would stay connected which was very frustrating. February 17, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay with a family! Why didn't I find hotels like this when my kids were young? Having a suite at a hotel room price was terrific! We loved having the separate living room when our son needed to go to bed earlier than the rest of the family. Everything was clean. Staff was great. Breakfast was delicious! February 17, 2015
