Comfortable bed staff had some issues.The night manager woke us up at 2am because we had a 12pm wake up call WHAT?! That woke up the baby and other children. I've seen better breakfast choices. When we called the hotel direct because the express way just close due to a bad storm and accidents the hotel staff quoted us a $40 higher rate than the 800 holiday in #. Over all I liked the hotel just issues with the staff.

I stay at this property about 8 times a year. February 10 was my last time. All my flights were late and I got to the hotel at 10:00pm. The girl checking me in was on the phone the whole time she checked me in. She wasn't talking a lot, but it was in her ear the whole time. I had a long rough day - a smile would have been nice. This isn't the first time the check in has been poor.
Neither side door key lock worked. So when I went out to my truck using the side door, I had to walk all the way around. It was 4 degrees out. I moved my truck to the other side and that side door key lock didn't work either. Come on.....
I realize MI received a lot of snow this year. But the game plan for plowing the parking lot has created fewer parking spots and no side walks.
Finally, there has been a gold Chevy Blazer or GMC Jimmy parked on the West side of the parking lot for over 2 years. Some of the tires are nearly flat. With the limited parking due to snow, it really irked me - it is parked right in front of the side door. No exaggeration - it has been there at least 2 years.
I just booked another night in Grand Rapids and chose a different hotel. This one has been slipping down hill fast and I won't stay there again. I have plenty of choices. .

I have stayed here previous times in the past and never have had an issue actually I rather like this location. This time however, the staff accussed me of potentialy stealing extra towels and pillows which I always ask for and said i would have to come up to the front desk to get toliet paper, later bringing it to my room and apologizing, after my room wasnt serviced! Yep new employees perhaps?? Change in manamgement over the last few months??? Maybe a bad weekend for them!
