I was surprised by the size of the suite. Room was clean, bathroom was clean. Internet was a little slow at certain times during my stay.
Staff were friendly upon check in and my room was ready.
Bathroom was larger than other hotels, water was hot. The hair dryer was pretty weak and took a while to dry my hair.
TV was ok with DISH but not as many channels as I have seen other hotels have. But the room itself was quiet. I slept great. Even though the hotel was busy and it seemed to be filled, I didn't hear anyone.
Right next door to Meijer so easy to walk or drive over to pick up food and drink for my refrigerator.
I stayed another Holiday Inn Express further down the road but this one had a larger room.
I am staying again this week and will see if my second stay is as good as my first one

En general mi experiencia fue buena, no pude cerrar completamente la cortina de la venta pero no lo reporte. Creo que los huevos revueltos del desayuno pueden ser mejorados. El personal fue muy amable.

When I stay at a property I look around at the fixtures, wallpaper, and general condition of the room to determine how old the property is, and in this case it appears either the property is older or is just in dire need of some TLC. One place where it really shows is in the bathroom. The bathrooms just have a general appearance of blah. The main lobby was large but I got the impression the hotel was more of a place where people gather to party than a place to relax as evidenced by many loud children running all over the place and a gathering of people outside. The staff that I dealt with was very professional and courteous. One thing I did find odd was the fact that usually the night before check out I receive a bill slid under the door so that I can have an express checkout the next day and this property did not do that, so I expected that I could get on the IHG website and simply print a bill off of their, but as of 2 days later there has been no activity from this hotel documented on my account and I just found out they don't participate in the process of making your bill available online. I did call and got them to email me a copy, but I find a little odd. One last thing, as a Platinum member, I receive bonus points upon check in at every stay, and they are usually deposited into my account, and can be viewed almost immediately on the IHG site, however over 48 hours after departing, there is still no sign of them. This is the only property that this has happened at. Overall the property staff was very friendly and courteous, but the property itself fell below what I have come to expect from an HIE property.
