This property has not been well maintained. From all of my many stays at Holiday Inn Express across US, Canada, this property is in the bottom 10%
Even the exercise equipment is not well maintained.

I found this hotel to be a big disappointment. I checked in late and was exhausted. I noticed it was not the cleanest, but I just wanted to relax and get some sleep.
Long story short, I didn't sleep well. The heating system squealed when it turned on in the night, there are water stains on the ceiling tiles and mold on the bathroom floor tile and on the bathmat. Staff seemed more involved with their own personal conversations than with guests.
I did call the manager and left a message, thinking I would talk to her before I posted a review (depending on her response). I didn't hear back, and so I called 5 days later. The manager admitted not checking her voice mails because she is "busy." She did refund my points, but until they keep it cleaner and re-educate the staff, I won't be staying there.
I still love the brand and we just stayed in Ann Arbor last week-great hotel, great service! Please fix this one in GR.
