Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Comfortable Stay The staff here are very friendly and went out of their way to help me during my stay. The room was very comfortable and the bed afforded me a great sleep. January 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Another comfortable stay...but bath lights still dim. No need to tell us the bulbs will light up slowly.....the wattage on these energy efficient bulbs is just too low in the bath. How about creating a Sr. Citizen room with lighted magnifying mirror (and comfort height commode) for those of us over 70 who stay with you regularly? We had a phone with flashing red lights that would not shut off, so the clerk kindly exchanged phones and discounted our room...yet the light still flashed all night on the replacement. This is a comfortable and clean hotel; but we experienced two barrages of "machine gun" like noise during the night in room 103. We know you have a fan noise that cycles regularly in the west end of the hotel, ground floor area; but this was exceptionally alarming in the dead of night. We will ask for rooms at the east end of the hotel next trip. Happy New Year. January 18, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GReat stop in Grants Pass THe hotel is very convenient from I-5. The fireplace in the lobby provides great ambience when you enter the lobby. The desk personnel were wonderfully friendly and helpful. At checkout we reported two minor plumbing problems in the bathroom. The manager took note of them; I feel confident that they were corrected soon after we left. The beds are very comfortable!! January 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great customer service I arrived very late and was extremeley tired. Your front desk employee, Stephanie, gave great customer service and I was pleased with how quickly she got me up to my room and checked in. She was extremeley friendly and it felt like I was coming home. It's people like this that make me come back to the places I stay. She's a strong assest to your company! January 13, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Crazy Room I have stayed at numerous properties all over the country, This experience was truly unique, Good and bad I checked in and the first thing I requested was a room on the 3rd floor. I was by myself and didn't want to hear people above me or elevator noises all night or morning. The Staff was great and I received a nod that I wanted the 3rd floor. I received my Key and found that my room was on the 1st floor behind the registration desk, sandwhiched between the exercise room and the elevator. Directly across from housekeeping!! I entered the room and found the bed extremely comfortable with pillows that were made in heaven. I sat back to watch TV and fall asleep. I thought about asking why I was put on the first floor and thought maybe she had heard me wrong and thought I said 1st floor, I can see how that would be possible. Then I heard the elevator through the wall and people talking in the hall. I looked through the Peep and saw staff going in and out of the service shop and housekeeping areas across from me. I decided to call and ask if the 3rd floor was full and see about a pair of ear plugs? I picked up the phone and found it was not working. I tried a few things and checked the cord. In my younger years I worked for a High End Property in Seattle and know what to look for. I am sympathetic for this reason, I know stuff happens and it's how the staff deals with it that makes the difference. A set of ear plugs would help me deal with it. I turned the TV off and went to the desk. The front desk reception was helpful, apologized for the phone not working and offered up a great pair of ear plugs to block the noise I would most definately hear when the day staff arrived and the elevators would go postal. She also noticed my shirt emblem and asked me if I was an employee of the company proudly displayed on the pocket. I said I was and she told me there was a corporate rate available and that she would reduce my rate. This was a nice perk and saved me some money. I padded back to my room, 40 feet away to take a shower. When I turned the shower on I got only half the spray and the rest dribbled down the shower head. Wasn't a huge deal and I got through it without a scratch! I got to bed and hit the remote to watch TV and help me wind down. The TV did nothing. I turned the lights on and tried everything possible to get it going...Nothing!! I picked up the phone and there I was again grasping a dead phone. Luckily I had a few small bottles of spirits to help me drift off. I slept great in a very comfortable bed and perfect pillows. When morning came I was amazed that they rent this room. Not only could I hear the buzz of the housekeeping and staff but I got a fresh taste of the elevator noises and that darn fan somewhere. I couldn't turn the TV on so I gathered myself and went to the Breakfast room. Wow, what a treat, They had everything and more. What a great spread. Pancakes, Eggs, Bacon, Cinnamon rolls, fruit, cereal, I could go on. Best I have ever seen and everything was pretty tasty for a hotel breakfast. I stopped by the front desk to tell them about the TV, Shower head and phone and mentioned the Air conditioner cover plate fell off in my hand when I opened it to get some white noise in the room. She apologized and thanked me for my visit. I liked everything about the hotel except the room issues. I hate to complain but know that the guest should feel at home and that room was like living in a tent with a great bed. Too much noise and everything broken. January 9, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and comfortable always If we could just get brighter lights in the bathroom it would be a 10 all around! Good accommodations and reliable. January 7, 2015
