Staff was very nice and rooms were great. The hotel is being renovated but was they were done by 5:30 so it was not too noisy. There are places to eat close by which was nice to have different options.

The refurbished room was very nice. The breakfast food in some cases was a bit colder than it should have been and the oranges were not ripe yet.

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in
Grapevine several times. We use this property
as our evening stopping point into DFW Airport
and our early morning flight to Mexico the next
Always good service, accommodations and
access to nearby restaurants.
Easy access to and from DFW Airport with
their shuttle service.

When I made my reservation I was informed that the hotel was renovating. The hotel staff did an excellent job to satisfy the guests during this process. It did not disrupt our stay at all. I will be back to Grapevine in October and will definiately stay here again!!

If you have ever took vacation and are flying out early like 8 am don't go here you will not get breakfast. the air-conditioned was set on 60 degrees and it felt like 80 degrees on the room I sleep with only the sheets on I was still hot. I was laying right beside the air-condition too worst of all after having trouble sleeping I still didn't even get to eat breakfast and had to buy airport food @ outrageous prices. Paid about 200 per room and all we did is barely sleep.

My family and I stayed at this hotel to visit legoland and the aquarium. We went swimming soon after arrival and the chlorine was so strong that it burned my 8yo sons eyes. We went back to room to shower and there was NO knob on our shower. We COULD NOT turn on the water. Called front desk and she sent a maintenance person to our room who told us the knobs were being replaced in all the rooms and we had an old one. He gave us a pair of pliers so we could at least shower. While showering I noticed a crack in bottom of tub. Later that night I got up to go to bathroom and the floor was SOAKED. Squishy. I told the front desk upon departure of All the problems and the manager on duty stated he would credit me some rewards points. REALLY? After a totally miserable night we got a measly credit of points. We did get an apology and the staff was very nice. Rooms are under construction on 2 floor so there is constant noise and movement above.
