After canceling 3 room reservations three months in advance, they still charged me for one of the rooms. When I called the representative said the person she talked to on the phone before me had the same issue. Even considering there may have been a problem, they still charged me.

I do understand that cancelling in the last minute I wouls not get a full refund, but not refunding a platinum member for any of the other 4 days that the hotel will not be used is not right. Last minute Project cancellation like this do happen so I will look for a hotel that will understand that. I do travel every other week.

This was one of the best locations I have stayed at in a while. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The lobby, breakfast area and rooms were clean and comfortable. I will definatley select this location is the future!

What an enjoyable stay. After a grueling 16 hour set of flights, my family was ready to relax and catch up on our sleep. The HIE at DFW-Grapevine completely fit the bill. Everyone was professinal and efficient and the staff was outstanding with my kids, who wanted to sample each of the breakfast items. It was a totally enjoyable stay and it has become my go to place while visiting Dallas/Fort Worth!

Great bed very comfortable could relax with no distraction was in walking distance to some good restaurants. and vey close to DFW airport with shuttle service.

I would recommend this hotel. The Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was big and the bed huge and very comfortable. It was also extremely quiet apart from the A/C unit. I couldn't hear any noise of aircraft or the outside (even though this hotel is only a couple of miles from DFW airport.)
My main problem was the a/c unit which was very noisy - I presumed all individual, window based a/c's in the USA must be like this, and put up with it for the duration of my stay, only to be told on my last morning by a member of staff that having a noisy unit wasn't normal and I should have complained.
Another secondary niggle though not so important was the type of food served at breakfast. For the price of the stay it would have been good to have had some sort of espresso/cappucino machine rather than not very hot or fresh coffee from thermos dispensers. Also as a European, I find the sugar-laden foods served for breakfast a bit much. It would have been nice to have more sugar free ingredients and an option for a healthier breakfast. Otherwise I really enjoyed the friendly, informal atmosphere of this hotel, the comfort of the bed and the very good staff.
