The customer service was wonderful. We was greeted with a smile and was given the right directions to where we needed to go. The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was very good and held us over until dinner. It was located in a safe & secure location. Near many of the things that we needed to be close to. When we come back to this area, we will stay here again. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room rate was ridiculous, twice the normal rate I've paid in the past. Room had a connecting door to the room next door and the guests in that room were loud, partying until the early morning hours. Why did they put me in this room in the first place? I called the front desk to be moved and they said they couldn't but they would go "talk" to the guests to ask them to keep the noise level down. But to no avail, I was up until 1:30am. The workout room TV was not connected to cable nor did it have a remote. Went to the front desk to get a remote and the young lady working gave me "her" remote and said it should work. Again, no avail. The workout equipment either needs to be calibrated or just replaced with new. The continental breakfast didn't seem as fresh as it has been at other HIE locations. This location just wasn't that great.

Nice reception, room of a good size and clean.. Room had some smell of dust form Heater/cooler unit, nice laundry facility and location perfect with walking distance to several restuarants....

My wife and I have stayed at this facility more than a dozen times. We have never been disappointed. The Staff is competent, helpful, courteous and bend over backwards to make ones stay as comfortable and pleasant as is humanly possible.
I would recommend this facility without hesitancy.

This is the second time that i have made reservations through the internet (2 room king suite) and when I checked in it was not available. the first ocassion (April 2012) was explained that someone canceled me in the room and gave it to someone else. The staff was very apologetic and actually comped on night for me.
The second time (november, 2012) it was explained that this room has been reserved for an extended time period (perhaps one year) and was simply not available.
Here is the problem. The internet site says that it is available when it is really not availalbe.
My suggestion would be to mofify your internet site to show that the room was not available to avoid confustion and frustration for those who may which to reserve it.
The staff of the Grapevine Holiday Inn Express was very apologetic again and was not there fault. Mangement needs to deal with this issue.

Terrible management of the internet and totally unacceptable.

I love to stay at Holiday Inn Express - you can always count on great quality, service and comfort. My only complaint was the delay in the shuttle service. I stayed here while attending the Juice Plus+ conference being held @ the Gaylord Texan and it seemed like folks waiting for the HIE shuttle waited the longest. I personally waited over 1 1/2 hours TWICE for the shuttle all because there was only one driver on instead of 2 who had to balance airport pickups, Gaylord pickups as well as other locations. The drivers were friendly, kind and CALM despite having to deflect many people's anger and frustration. The upper management of this hotel should have anticipated the need for 2 shuttle drivers prior to the start of the conference (that had over 9,000 attendees) or at least after the first day.

We chose this location because it was close to the DFW Airport! Our room was nice, but it was the lady at the front desk that made our stay most enjoyable. She went above and beyond with suggestions on where to eat and what to do while we were there. She even made and gave me cookies to snack on while i was waiting on my husbands plane to land!

CLOSE TO FORT WORTH STOCKYARDS AND CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN DALLAS JFK MUSEUM AND WITH IN A THREE BLOCK RADIUS OF VARIOUS ACTIVITIES THAT WOULD KEEP A FAMILY BUSY FOR DAYS.

Our main purpose for staying here was access to Dallas Fort Worth Airport. The shuttle began running at 5:00 am which helped! There were plenty of eating destinations within walking distance. The pool was nice and clean. I will certainly stay here again.
