prefer staying at HIE throughout my travels mostly because of the breakfasts and free internet. Would like to see more plug ins near nightstands since they are usually completely full before i get there. This location wasn't as clean as most others. very nice staff.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly faces and helpful staff. The room was neat, clean, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfasts were great. Everyone was very helpful if we needed something - a question answered, an extra something for the room they were always very pleasant. We were most impressed.

This is my 4th extended stay at this hotel, and have always been greeting by all staff with a smile and extremely helpful. For an older hotel, I have no complaints. I will be making future reservations.

Our recent stay at this Holiday Inn Express was definitely not up to the standard we have experienced at other Holiday Inn Express'.. Internet service was poor and not working part of the time. Very little food available for the amount of people eating. Pancake machine not working, no milk, no yogurt. The staff was nice and friendly but everything else lacked value for the dollar.

The beds were hard, the pillows very small, the light switch in the bathroom was so dirty I had to wash it before I would use it. Not a value for the money. Walls in bathroom looked like a kid put hand prints all over with muddy hands
Good things: very nice staff, halls clean and smell good, sheets clean, tolet and shower clean.

Beds and Pillows need updating.
Older property in a good location.
Entrance doors hard to get bags through.
Breakfast did not sit well with us.
Not Holiday Inn Express quality.

Over the holidays, my handicapped parents stayed at the Holiday Inn Green Valley. The two ladies working the front desk truly know the definition of customer service. When we made the reservation requesting specifically a 1st floor handicapped room, they were able to tell us specifically the room we would have. They welcomed my parent's stay with open arms having the previously delivered oxygen ready and waiting. In fact, there was a note in large print, notifying all front office staff who the oxygen was for. On Christmas Eve, since my mother was not feeling well, I gave them my phone number to reach me should they need me during the night. I was told they would call me and do anything necessary to help my father if needed. She also made note in the logbook for the rest of the staff. Fortunately, it was unnecessary to call me. My dad thought the breakfast was terrific. Granted, this is not the most up-to-date Holiday Inn Express, however, it was very clean and welcoming. Their customer service was far better than many higher rated hotels I've stayed in. Good job, HIexpress Green Valley.

The hotel has come a long way since it was taken over by Dr. Patel. But whatever you do, do NOT stay here using your Holiday Inn points. I redeemed 15,000 points to stay for a single overnight stay. When I checked out, I was given a statement showing both my initial charge on my VISA along with a credit. This looked fine. It has been 3 weeks and I am still waiting for the credit to be reversed on my VISA. Calling the bank for VISA, they recommended I call the hotel. Holiday Inn Express Green Valley AZ said they have done everything and there is nothing more they can do - not even taking the time to look into the matter. I left a detailed message with Dr. Patel and he has yet to reply. If you stay here, my recommendation is that you only use a credit card. DO NOT use Holiday Inn points here because this hotel is interested in only one thing - separating you from your money.

We have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express's in various towns & this was the worst . All other experiences have been fine at other HIE properties. This hotel was run down , dilapidated and should be an embarrassment to the company. Signage to enter the property was poor....We would definitely not recommend this place.

Clean room. Shower a lttile bit too finicky, spray head mount would not stay at desired location and would slide down.
No tissues in the room. Not enough hangers, found three in the room with plenty of rod rings, asked staff to find more came back fifteen minutes later with two.
Breakfast bar had coffee outside of of breakfast hours that was cold to warm at best.
Most likely would not stay again here.

Hotel is dated! No lights in pool/spa area
Room was poorly decorated; beds were comfortable.
Breakfast was not what we usually expect

The location is nice, close to the exit, close to a large strip mall with a Walmart, Denney's, & other stores. There is a fast-food restaurant in the parking lot. Nice breakfast.
