Hotel Front Desk overnight agent and the morning manager on duty was rude and unprofessional the issue could have been handled better. And it was clearly no fault of mine the guest. Kudos to the lady in the dining who would always speak and acknowledge me when I would see her she always greeted me very warmly. The evening girl who worked the shift starting at 3pm was friendly as well.

Felt that the room was a little expensive and the room needed another chair or two. The bathroom was not as clean as it should have been,

After many hours of driving, we knew we weren't going to make it to our destination on day one. We did a quick search on our route and found this HI Express with a few rooms left. The place was immaculate when you walked in and the staff was nice....really needed a smile after the long drive in the thunderstorm. Rooms were clean and quiet. The bonus was the breakfast; couldn't believe the selection of hot items available...and it wasn't the terrible round microwave egg stuff you see.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tailback35 Accommodations satisfactory, but not outstanding
Overall, we found the hotel to be adequate with respect to cleanliness, safety, and service. A TV malfunction was corrected by a staff member shortly after our arrival, but our telephone was inoperative. This was not a major problem as our stay was for only one night and we had two cell phones. The hotel appeared fully booked, and the breakfast area was somewhat crowded, with a high noise level and lines at the serving counter. The bathroom layout left much to be desired; there was very little counter space around the basin, and there was no place to hang a towel within reach of the tub/shower. Although there were four pillows on our king bed with two pillowslips labels "firm" and two "soft," all appeared to be the same (probably soft). When reserving the room, we were informed that the AARP discount would not be available because the hotel was nearly fully booked, so the rate was somewhat higher than expected for a hotel in this category and location.

I enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if the opportunity shows itself. The Bates House of Turkey was within walking distance. A must if in the area!
