Upon entering the hotel the staff was pleasant and attentive. They had a nice area for relaxing with drinks and snacks. Overall I had a nice stay there, even though the walls were pretty thin. I could here the guys next door celebrating a sports victory of some kind. Close to some nice restaurants and shopping. I needed a refrigerator and microwave, didn't realize they weren't in every room

We were very pleased with the size of the room for the money. There was problem with the toilet and the hotel was booked so they sent up a plumber. It was a bit of an inconvenience, but the plumber was nice and so was the staff. The problem wasn't entirely fixed, but they adjusted our bill nicely without me even asking and gave me extra points as a priority club member too. Overall, a nice place and friendly.

This is a nice property that is kept up. The breakfast selection is good except there are issues with the pancake maker at times which makes it difficult. The happy hour is a nice option in the evening. The rooms are spacious and clean.

This is one of the best Holiday Inn Express' anywhere. We were there in a blizzard and the staff handled it all professionally. The property is modern and the rooms spacious and comfortable. Service is excellent...definitely recommend and would return.

My grand-children were there for a Swimming Meet. The tub in my room was a big hit. Also, the staff was wonderful in taking care of the breakfast for all the kids. And treated me fantastic. Thank them for me.

On the day of my planned departure, I fell ill. I was able to get a late check out no problem. A few hours later, I decided I shouldn't be driving, so I called the front desk to extend my stay. That was no problem. I also asked if someone from the hotel could make a run to the nearby Walmart for some items to help with my symptoms. The front desk clerk came up to get my cash and the general manager made the trip for me with my cash and list, less than an hour later the front desk clerk brought me the items and my change. I was able to relax in my already comfortable room, stay another night and safely depart the next day. Without a doubt my stay was much easier because of the help from the general manager and the hotel staff. I have stayed at this location a few times in the past and have been very satisfied. I will definitely stay at this location again when in the area because of the service commitment of the general manager and his staff! The hotel appears to have been recently remodeled with newer carpets, wall coverings and room furnishings. Housekeeping and upkeep appear to be above average. I am a frequent business travelier and pretty picky about the hotels I stay in, I have about 100 hotel nights every year with various brands. I am a Gold level Priority Club Member. Thank you for making my stay easier!

The front desk associate was on the ball--friendly, knowledgeable and able to help. Make that able and WILLING to help. Clean, updated hotel, including rooms--will definitely be back.

I requested King suite with 2 person Jacuzzi but got the King suite with whirlpool tub (1 person). That was the only flaw in an otherwise excellent stay! Pool water was a bit chilly.

We booked three rooms during our stay, two for the night before the wedding and one for the groom and bride the night of their wedding.
The night before the wedding didn't really have any issues. Came down in the morning for breakfast and the waffle/pancake machine was broken. No milks, the food was cold and the one person working it seemed so overworked they couldn't keep up. During that day we specifically asked the front desk staff numerous times to have the room cleaned so the bride and groom had a clean room to come back to.
Bride and groom got to the hotel to having it not been touched. The bed had the sheets taken off of it from the bridal party getting ready for the day, no towels, nothing. So the bride went downstairs in her wedding dress to say something and was given a stack of towels and sheets and was told she had to make her own bed.
The next morning breakfast was the same way, machine broken, no milk, over worked staff member who just couldn't keep things filled.
We have now waited over a month for a call from the district manager that we were promised. Plan AWFUL experience!

I have stayed at the Greenwood Holiday Inn several times and enjoy the facility for many reasons. The staff is very nice. The facility is clean and comfortable. There are many good places to eat in the area. A terrific destination.

We had our daughter stay here after her wedding, she, my wife and the bridesmaids stayed there the night before, her wedding Dec 7th. When my wfie checked out, she made sure they knew that my daughter and her husband would be coming back later that night and that it would be the first night of their honeymoon.
So when my daughter and son-in-law get there around 2 am, the room had not been made up, so they when down to the deck since no one was answering the phone. The man working the counter, said oh sorry, here are sheets since I am not very good at making beds.
Really on their honeymoon? Make your own bed? I am so sorry I had them stay there. Trust me it is the last time ever.

Excellent for the value, clean room, everything well organizes, best quality Flat Screen TV.
Breakfast was best than expected. Personnel friendly and professional at all times.
Will visit again in few weeks.

The staff is very friendly and accomodating. My room was prepared early so I could check in prior to normal time. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast area is nice and several choices but the pancake machine is broken often. The happy hour is a nice end to the day.

The walls of this hotel are very thin.
They are understaffed if they cant get the rooms ready on time.
They cant take special requests as in getting adjoining rooms (good thing we were all adults and werent a large family with kids)
The decor in the rooms is very pretty.
The mini-sweet is a decent bit bigger than the regular room size and the jacuzzi tube was HUGE.
With that all being said here is my full story:
I booked my rooms 2 and half weeks prior to check-in and asked if I could have adjoining rooms. They said they could not guarantee that but would put it in as a request. I called back a couple days prior to inquire on the likeliness of the rooms being together. I was told that it would be noted again. Now if it was noted the first time or not I do not know. I called the day of check-in to ask again and was told they would try. I go to check-in and the rooms are next to one another on the wrong side meaning that both rooms had doors to connect to other rooms but I wasn't given the two that doors went to each other. Then I was stopped and told I was given the wrong room, one of the rooms had a maintenance issue. No big deal that happens. So, I assumed they had figured out their mistake and would give me the correct room. Nope, they gave me another room on a totally different floor that hadn't even been cleaned yet. I checked in at 4pm. We all had to get ready and leave the hotel by 5pm. I had one room for 6 women to get ready in and the other room still wasn't ready by the time we left.
When we returned later that evening at 10:30pm, we all went back to the one room we had gotten ready in and sat hung out. At 11pm a knock on the door came and said we needed to be quiet and told us maybe we should relocated to our other room if we intended to be noisy. Umm...excuse me maybe that room should've been ready on time.
We all went to bed around midnight. At 4:30am our neighbors TV came on loudly and did not get turned off until 5:30am. (This happened to those of us that we in the second room.)
The lady in the breakfast area was exceptional. She was busy the whole time. She didn't let a table sit for more than a few seconds empty before she was there to wipe it clean so someone else could use it.

Started out with having a thermostat which did not work. The desk manager removed the cover from the heater and exposed the other thermostat, leaving the cover off. Finally got to sleep late when the temperature dropped below 80.
Out till late the next day and returned to find that the room was not made up at all. The cover was still off the heater, so I presumed the temp would be ok, which it was.
Apart from a closet door which was basically in-operable, everything else was OK.
I have stayed at this motel in the past, so I presume that the lack of attention to detail was due to the present personnel.
As i checked out I asked the desk manager if I could have an evaluation form, and she said I would get one on-line.

Everyone went out of there way to make our 5day stay as much like home as you get on the road, since we have stayed their several times and they have gotten to know us better the staff treats us like family.

Overall experience was average. They need to improve the breakfast service, constantly out of items and very slow at refreshing. Pancake machine did not work. Pool was cold. Room was clean but was in need of remodeling. Staff was friendly.

This is a very nice property. The suites are very spacious and the jet tub in the bathroom was great. The breakfast area is well kept with many options. The happy hour is a nice way to relax at the end of the business day.

The staff at this hotel was very friendly, although they didn't realize I was a priority member until I said so. We had an issue with the heating system and they did come and try to fix it, but gave us a different room. The heater did not regulate at the wall, however, and it turned off and on all night. It was also very noisy and easy to hear what the other rooms were doing. Not the very best of Holiday Inns we have stayed at. It needs remodeling!

Breakfast area was having major issues getting pancake machine to work and keeping food stocked. they were out of Hot water, and out of eggs, and out sausage. It was very difficult to try to eat as you were constantly having to jump up to get something that wasn't there when you went through first time.

Hotels are Hotels, but it is the staff that makes that make it great. This HIE is my choice for weekly stays because of the staff.
The hotel has made several improvements this year...New mattresses, power strips at the desks that include USB ports and better towels. It is always clean and is in a great location.
