During our recent stay, the hotel rooms were not cleaned as I expected them to be. I had to dust and clean before I felt comfortable. The towels and linen were dingy and did not smell the freshest. The breakfast was good because of the variety and the dining area was clean and inviting. I suppose its duck hunting season and there was a lot of mud on the carpets and in the lobby. Also there were a lot of lady bugs...I'm just grateful they weren't bed bugs!

appreciate the effort of staff to provide hunters an early morning breakfast. didn't need to make another stop to get coffee and something to eat......just what we needed.

Was planning to stay at another hotel when someone recommended the Holiday Inn Express
The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The room was clean and comfy. We slept well and breakfast was good also.

Decent place to stay. Some eateries nearby. Staff is friendly and helpful. I wish they had one bedroom layouts.

Needs new pilllows. Only room available was a smoking room so I had to take it since the town had a limited selection of hotels to choose from. Huge black bug crawling across sink countertop. Took picture and video, reported it to the woman working the night shift. She asked me to text the information to her phone, yet did not notify the manager. Upon check out I brought up the bug issue, the best off was some money off both nights stayed. I was given the explanation that they had been exterminating that week but no one else had complained of bugs. After coming in town for an unexpected death of a family member I had no energy left to press the issue. The total for my room did not indicate what was being held on my credit card and when I called about it I was given the explanation of 15 dollars per day or 15% each day was also held, nevertheless the staff needs to brush up on policy because what was being held on my charge card was in excess of either! Do not ever plan on staying at this hotel in this town again.

Every year for the past twelve years me and other family members make long drives to Greenwood for the Thanksgiving holiday. Greenwood's hotel options are very few. When this hotel was initially built it was one of the nicest in town. Over the years me and other family members have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and slowly watch it decline in quality. This year I was the only family member that returned to the Holiday Inn Express and it was my last. The hotel can use a good refurbishing and a good staff to maintain it. Staff is always friendly and helpful when I needed anything but the overall quality of the hotel has gone down. I will continue to stay at Holiday Inn Express just not this one.
